Location has gone down hill. The service is very slow since they remodeled. Friends and I went once after and it wasn’t great and then we tried it again recently with the same experience. Took a long time to get drink orders in and at the end we waited for a long time to be brought check and then another long wait to take cards and run them. The salad buffet is still great but the meat is pretty hot and miss now. We’ll be going to the Farmington or Orem locations in the future, they have continued to be great throughout the time salt lake’s has declined.
This was a really nice place; the food was delicious and there was a wide variety of meat. I also enjoyed the salad bar. The staff were awesome too, especially our main server, Black Panther. He was on top of things, extremely nice and funny. The name tag shout out to Chadwick Boseman was just icing on the cake. Would definitely sit in his section again and would request him if possible. My only complaint is that the meat service was slow.

Beef only came around a couple times and even when I asked for rare the beef and meat was all very overcooked.Staff-there were three parties from what I could tell, but we were checked on only a couple times. Not a lot of refills of water, but the staff did come a decent amount to ask if we needed anything.Lunch experience-I was pretty disappointed unfortunately. It took a long time to get the different items and although I requested beef I could only get a couple slices. The quantity for each item was a bit small. It would not be an issue if it was the weekend or night I imagine, but on the weekday lunch it take a really long time to get items. Though the veggie platter came 3 times while we were there. Expect to be there an hour or more.
I love this location and this restaurant. The hostess seated the people who walked in at the same time as us without a reservation before us, and we had a reservation. Then our server was more attentive to the larger parties than our table of two. The meat servers were great and would bring what we wanted around frequently. And the manager only stopped at the larger party tables too. Usually they hit every table. The food was great, the atmosphere was great. The service was lacking which is not what I have come to expect from this establishment. We eat here at least twice a year and always had good service until this last visit
Excellent time once we got in and got seated.. they were pretty stubborn about the whole party being there... and it was a commercially arranged work party.. made it difficult because the entrance and waiting area is quite small.. but again the food was great the service was great, everyone had a great time. We had a lot of first-time patrons, and they loved it. Thanks for a great evening and great food. Very clean very nice.
Everything here was alright. They have really good sides (cheesy potatoes, soups and breadsticks, etc.) and some of the meat that came around was good. However, a lot of it was really rare--there wasn't enough chicken coming around when we were there. Mostly super rare steak.Cool atmosphere and the server was nice but their pricing is really high for the overall experience.
This place is pretty good. It’s a fun atmosphere, and the food is delicious! Their salad/sides bar is wide in variety and has a lot of good choices. The only downside was that they came to the table with some meats that were barely cooked. A lot of the steaks were still dark red or still bleeding. Also, the bathroom was super hard to find. Otherwise, super great!
I'm only giving it an extra star because one of the guys bringing meat around was very nice and worked really hard. Everything else was awful. We went for lunch on Monday and it took 10 minutes for the waitress to come introduce herself. The meat hardly came around at all and when it did, it was mostly fish. I like fish but didn't come for that and the two people I was with don't like fish. We got beef 3 times, which was 1-2 bites each time and chicken twice and some pineapple. The grilled vegetables came around a couple times but they weren't good so we passed after the first time. There was so much time in between the meat coming by. Also, it took forever to get our check. We spent two hours there before we gave up and left. SO not worth $20/person and took way more time than it should have! I would not recommend going here, at least not for lunch!
Very disappointed. I took a group from work including my boss from Australia as a his restaurant has been very good in the past. The soups on the buffet were barely warm and there were no spoons to eat it with. The waiter asked how we liked our meats cooked and our entire table responded rare-med rare. Everything brought to our table was well-done and beyond, dark bro n and dry. There were several plates on the salad bar stack that still had dried food stuck to them. Needless to say I was very embarrassed to have suggested this place to my boss and co-workers.
Very affordable lunch $$ price, servers are nice and ask what kind of meat you want.
