I really loved this coffee place in all the aspects. Cool place from outside, very nice and neat inside. Not a lot seats, but it’s still cozy and pretty.I got an Espresso (Ethiopian coffee) and it was great… I really loved it. I also got a vanilla latte and it was the best I had so far in the city. For sure, this is my favorite coffee spot in Salt Lake City.

God this place is awesome. One of my favorite lattes in Salt Lake City to date. The staff are all incredibly inviting and friendly. But they are also so so talented. The place has a ton of foot traffic and they moved quickly without compromising the quality of the drinks. Just a great vibe over all. They genuinely care about the quality of their product and take pride in what they’re doing. I’ll be back.

Perfect roast fast but not rushed. Small clean anti St*rbucks. Love a place that doesn’t scoff if you don’t know the local lingo!

I can't rave enough about how I've converted from a sweet to a savory scone fanatic because of the Date Walnut Rosemary scone here.Things you should know:I. PARKINGWe just use the street parking for here. It's pretty easy to find availability on a week dayII. SERVICENo complaintsIII. QUALITYThis time around, we tried 2 pastries. The beet feta ricotta hand pie and the date walnut rosemary scone. Both outstanding. The density of the coffee it high and strong ~ perfectionIV. CAPACITYAvailable seating for a Tuesday morning, but as the noon hour arrives it really starts getting packed.

Very good coffee in a nicely designed space with pleasant music. But SLOW service. Took over 15 minutes to get coffee, only one person ahead of us. 2 of the 3 employees were literally just sitting down. The one who served us even stopped, in the middle of making our order, to make an espresso for himself!

Certainly one of the best coffee shops in Utah, if not the best. In both a geological desert and coffee desert, I feel so lucky to have Three Pines in Salt Lake City! The outdoor seating is awesome, and there are some seats indoors for colder winter days. They carry and serve Heart Coffee (from Portland, OR) and their drip coffee is top notch. I love getting an espresso and sitting outside to enjoy the city or getting an iced coffee and walking to the summer farmers market. Make sure to check out Three Pines!

Loved this small independent business in the heart of Salt Lake City. I sat there quite a while listening to the owner (he is the smiley guy in my pictures) and his employee interact with their customers. Most were regulars. You could hear they had high expectations for their order. I wanted to try something different so I ordered a Marcha - pictured with my review. The first sip confused my taste buds. “Hey this isn’t coffee!!” They shouted out. As I finished the drink my taste buds agreed we had a new experience and it was pretty good will I go back for another cup? You betcha!!

Great little cozy place to stop on a stroll through downtown SLC! Staff was chill and kind, atmosphere was great. Highly recommend their matcha latte!

Tiny shop but very modern and chill. Attentive staff with fantastic atmosphere. The five counter seats facing the street is perfect for pedestrian watching. We are visiting SLC and really enjoyed our latte break here.

My partner and I wanted to try some new coffee since we have been partial to other locally owned joints—we chose three pines because it was listed in the first three articles when googling “best coffee in SLC”. While we weren’t impressed with the lattes, we did die for the blueberry turnover!! If you go, you absolutely MUST try them. Another fun thing that we enjoyed was the atmosphere. It was a cute place but very obviously catered to a minimalistic white hipster crowd (record player and all). The hype made us think the coffee would change our lives but it didn’t, so it gets a 4 stars for us. Overall, decent coffee with exceptional pastries and clean friendly atmosphere.
