What a lovely brunch! This place has unique, but wonderfully amazing bevvies, tasty and healthy food, many flavorful gluten free and vegan options, a relaxing environment, and friendly service. Looking forward to our next meal already!Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, or whatever... all will feel welcome here with many good options for any of these sensitivities or preferences.
Amazing coffee and staff, but not the best food. I would stick to the coffee and enjoy the vibes. The vibe is super friendly and low key. There is a ton of seating and you can get brunch seating pretty easy on Sunday’s. The coffee was strong and yummy. The chai latte was authentic and not overly sugary.Unfortunately the food wasn’t the best. I got a shashuka and one of the key tenants of the dish is to have runny eggs. Unfortunately they overcooked it and the eggs were a boiled yolk consistency. The sauce was pretty plain, but the bread provided was pretty good. The waffles were very healthy. Not sweet and they didn’t provide maple syrup. Sometimes when you go to brunch you want unhealthy food ? the eggs were decent.Overall I really like this place and I would come back. I just would stick to the coffee because the food is sadly lacking.
Went in with my wife and our 2 yr old. Sat down next to a couple with the same age kid that had been there for a few minutes before us. They received attention, syrup, straws for the kid, water, and kindness. We sat down and had to ask for everything after the food came out. The only difference between us and the couple next to us is that my wife has very dark skin and we were wearing hoodies and not dressed as nice as the couple next to us. I watched other couples and parties that were white greeted with a smile and great customer service. My wife had to go to the counter to get our check and the hostess stated that there is no need to tip, it's already included. The food was good but the hostess was very rude.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Hubby and I ordered 2 cappuccinos. I had avocado toast, hubby had eggs and bacon. No pepper n salt on table, cutlery given was a fork only. So to cut beacon Hubby had to use his own knife. Food came out relatively quick, however my avocado toast was one thin slice cut into 1/2 with a thin layer of smashed avocado, seriously!! Okay I chalked it up “ small bites”, none of this bothered me until the check came and 18% gratuity charged with out our knowledge, on top of which our waiter asked when given cash to pay, would you want your $8 change!!!!! Are you kidding me !! On top of it all my bill for food is $24.00 ( not including tax ), not sure how you do math to come up with $4.70 is 18% of $24?? ( pics to double check myself) I have no prob paying and tipping well, we are constantly on the road all over the world. Your establishment is lacking in so many ways. When you enter reception area smells like stale piss on top of everything we even overlooked that. 18% gratuity is earned not schemed!!!!
Excellent service and tasty food. The menu is small but each dish is well executed. I really enjoyed the creativity of the dishes and beverages- expect breakfast or lunch fair but with a foreign twist (chorizo hash, shakshuka, matcha and rose flavored beverages, etc.). The location is easy to get too and the cafe is in a historic building, adding a unique ambiance. Definitely recommend and would return if I'm back in Salt Lake City.
Delicious menu, the rose fog and matcha were super good!!!the buiscuit with cheddar, the yogurt bowl, but... Aweful service since they add 18% to all the checks plus they ask you to add tip, very tricky. So be careful when you gonna pay, even at the coffe shop to take they charge you. I bought a bag of granola for $12 and they added 18%. So, it is very good, but pricey and aweful service at the restaurant.
I hadn’t been here since far before they closed for the pandemic. I always loved the baked goods and coffee. Went back today and was very happy with the food, service, and coffee. The servers were all so sweet and I love a well presented coffee by a talented barista. Great cappuccino with perfect portion and presentation. On the food side, I had the standard breakfast which was also delicious. Nice amount of food for a quick meal. I’m coming back ASAP to try one of their beautiful pastries.
This restaurant is lovely. We booked for a rather large group and the server was beyond helpful when she allowed us to receive multiple checks. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the bacon frittata and a lavender cappuccino. The frittata came with a salad that had a very light olive oil dressing with a hint of citrus. It was fantastic! Everyone in our party walked away pleased.
Came here for a girls brunch. So delicious!the building is AMAZING and so fun to explore. We ordered a daydreamer (yum!!) and a iced chai (also yum!) with the house made cashew milk. The food took a very long time, but our server was really great at checking in and letting us know- and ultimately gave us a discount for the long wait time.We will be back!Food ordered:Biscuits and sausage gravyFrittata (GF)And the standard (GF)Spiced tea cake with eggnog glaze (not pictured but WOW, soo good)
So happy I found this place! Amazing vibes and friendly staff. Great place to grab a pastry and coffee and get some work done or spend an afternoon reading a book. Will definitely be coming back!
