Fresh mozzarella!! I got a calzone and the cheese came apart extremely stringy and tasted so fresh. The place looks awesome from the outside to the inside to the bathrooms. The artwork is great and pictures are fun to look at. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff, great calzone!! We went mid-day Sunday, no wait. When we left, there was a line out the door

Delicious pizza in a fun atmosphere. The front-cashier was so funny and personable as we ordered! I would definitely recommend to pizza-lovers.
I love the pizza here. It’s a fun place and the food is awesome. So are the portions.We usually get the combo, and it’s awesome. I do wish that the vegetables were cooked a little more. Getting a big bite of fresh peppers or onions is OK, but texture and flavor-wise, I think I’d like it even better if they were roasted beforehand.
A local on the flight here told us about this place. Not to be confused with the sister pie pizzeria. This place was so cool. The staff was super friendly and fun. We had a FABULOUS pizza. The sauce had the hint of sweet and was so delicious. Great vibe to the place. Enjoyed the music too.
I visited from MN as my son is attending next school year. This holds a great college vibe and the pizza was amazing. Not heavy and loved their thin crust. Great place for a fun date.
Guess I'm an East coast pizza snob....This is one of my top 10 pizza destinations in the country!!...Huge toppings, everyone is always friendly & helpful. HERE"S THE BUMMER and its not their fault..The UTAH on premise beer laws SUCK!!!..C'mon folks..it's 2022!! Serve full strength beer! 3.2 beer just doesn't cut it w/ food. I'd be willing to pay 2X more than what this place charges now...(and the prices ARE reasonable) FYI, I always stock up on booze in CO before coming to UTAH. The states coffers are LOSING!!!

I guess it does the job if you’re hungry and on a budget. It gets a lot of college kids. However, if you are into ingredients and food in general, you will find the pizza extremely greasy and heavy. You can definitely taste that the huge amount of cheese on top does not contain any real traditional mozzarella. Another downside is that there is no service.
The Pie Underground is becoming our favorite pizza joint in all of Salt Lake City. We enjoy taking our son there when we come to visit him at the U. The atmosphere is spot on and the pizza is fantastic. This visit we tried the ham and mushrooms pizza the cheese and steak pizza and the garlic breadsticks. I know there are several locations. However nothing beats the experience of visiting the one and only underground.
My travel companion was hungry for pizza late one evening, so we called Pie Pizzeria and had a HUGE deluxe pizza delivered. Excellent pizza.
