The definition of a gem. This place is consistently good and such a nice place to take a seat and enjoy lunch. Quiet, and very peaceful. The staff are all super friendly. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and sat by the window eating it and watching the world go by. It was perfect. They have an amazing selection of Scandinavian products too. I think they have smoked mackerel? Really cool and hard to find specialty items.
Classy quaint and eccentric and all the best ways. Has the storefront appearance of a gift shop that they perfect add-on of a deli in the back
If you want a hot sandwich, get the Reuben on rye. If you want something less adventurous, but still novel, get the Stockholm sandwich. I also love their De Ruijter and Stroop Waffles!
I love this little store since I am Dutch I can get things that remind me of Holland and the things my mother made, always friendly staff.
Really cool little deli! They also had some nice treats you can't find anywhere else. The split pea soup was delicious and so were the sandwiches! Awesome prices too! Definitely give this place a stop!
Wonderful food and service. Hard to find such quality imported groceries outside of the very big urban centers. Try any sausage products because you can't go wrong. The Mona Lisa brand hard Gouda cheese is incredible. They make a different home made soup every day. Today it was Dutch style green split pea soup. They also have a wide selection of delli foods on the shelves and imported Dutch china and collectables. I recommend it. - Ricco Renzetti CEC CCE.
Oh my gosh if you want authentic Scandinavian treats and sandwiches you absolutely have to go here! It’s so so amazing! We ordered the Ruben and the Stockholm sandwich and both my husband and I couldn’t agree which one we liked better because we they were both so filling and delicious ? go check it out!
If you're missing Holland, stop by The Old Dutch Store and have the deli make you a broodje kroket or broodje kaas. Delicious Deli Sandwiches.
Such friendly staff and authentic Scandinavian, Dutch and German foods and treats. The deli has imported meats and cheeses. Try them out you won't be disappointed!
I've gone here every so often when I'm in the Salt Lake area and have been since I was a kid. Love their Dutch candies and cookie etc...I grew up eating Leyden cheese (cumin spiced gouda) and it still is nice to get it here from time to time.
