Both drinks I had while there were gross, teach your bartenders how to make a long island iced tea, or lower the price. Nice atmosphere regardless.
Absolutely love this place! Recently moved to slc from Orlando. The atmosphere is very welcoming and I was missing the dive bar I used to frequent in Orlando. This place has solved that for me and I have now claimed this place as my second home. The bartenders and staff are amazing! They work so hard and always make sure your good. Their wings/food are delicious!! Good variety of drinks to choose from and karaoke is a blast! You won’t be disappointed.
I was impressed by how friendly everyone was here, and the carnitas tacos were decent enough for $6.(The tacos weren't the best, maybe they could use a little sauce -they were very dry- but it wasn't bad for a 930 bar snack.)The employees here were FANTASTIC! I love how friendly they work, and how quick they were to address issues. I was all surprised, how quick they were in giving me my food. (I didn't get a drink... Was going to be driving home right after I finished food.)But, from what I've seen their drink prices are great
Chakra, more specifically Dade, sucks! We went there when it was 15 degrees outside. It was half empty. Dade insisted we had to wait outside for 15 minutes while he let at least 10 other people in the door. When confronted, he said they were in there before and he was simply letting them “back in.” The thing is that 4 of those were people in our group (not previously waiting in line) that had not been in there that night. Fire him! I certainly won’t be back. And I’ll let everyone know the way I was treated. Thanks Dade!
I usually go for the bar fight nights. They host wrestling matches every now and then and I absolutely love it. It's fun and entertaining, the bar staff is always very helpful. This is a cool spot.

This place was super super fun!! Great prices/good value, people were so nice, and karaoke was more than a blast! Not the most bougie of atmospheres but the overall experience was absolutely worth every minute!
My group of 3 was denied service after one drink, we were reccomended to this bar from the bar next door. one of us picked up the tab and tipped, the bartender looked up how to make the drink but he made them, then he refused service because we "didnt tip enough"

Good food, good prices, GREAT staff!! I'd start my night off here and figure out if you even want the hassle of going anywhere else. You probably won't, I didn't. I went when Karaoke that Doesn't Suck was in there and it was a blast. Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves all night. Good times to be had at The Chakra Lounge!!
