We had a Dinner party for my friend Bryson’s birthday and our waitress, AD, was so kind and amazing! she brought us large bottles with plenty of water. Always coming back and making sure if we needed anything and taking empty places out of our way. We were a big party and she handled it wonderfully. If you plan on coming here ask for AD!
This is the second time I’ve been here. I think the food is excellent. My one star is due to the service. Our waiter was excellent but I don’t understand the manager, Brian. He’s terrible. I find it crazy that I walked in to 10 empty tables, 5 of which were covered with dirty plates, and the manager Brian telling me there was a 30 minute wait. There was no one ahead of me. So I’m literally waiting for what? There are a couple of clean tables. Why can’t I sit there? There are several tables of dirty dishes. Why isn’t Brian the manager cleaning those so I can sit?So, I decided to humor Brian and I waited. I figured my wait time certainly wouldn’t be 30 minutes. He would clean a few tables since the wait staff was running around.Nope. Didn’t happen. I waited my 30 minutes. Brian never cleaned a table and the wait line became epic. By the time I sat I think there was a wait of 60 minutes. I know some people left because they didn’t want to wait. Still, those dirty dishes sat on those tables, even as I walked out the door after my dinner.Who owns this place? Who thinks this type of service is OK? I didn’t go to school for restaurant management or hospitality but numbers tell me that if Brian had just bussed those tables and sat a few people quicker money would not have walked out the door. There were several people that didn’t wait. Why? Because Brian wasn’t willing to do his job.Like I said at the top of this review, I think the food is excellent but the manager making me wait 30 minutes because he was unwilling to clean a table is reason alone not to return. I guess good help is really hard to find at Taqueria 27.
it has very good mole, however authentic or unauthentic it may be. overall it's very good, the service is not always the greatest there, but i have not been for quite some time so the employee management and staff in general may have changed. everyone there is nice and helpful, it's also weirdly cold in some places versus others, it's odd building shape probably accentuates this. it's a long, stubby L shape and it doesn't necessarily take away from how good it is, it's just a new experience. i did have a few instances however, where my reservation was incorrectly booked and i had to wait outside for 30 minutes, and maybe 2 times where my food was cold upon arrival.

Such tasty tacos! I get nervous eating at places like this because my stomach can't handle spicy, but this was fantastic. Not to much spice at all, you can add if you want it. The tacos really hit the spot...I want more right now...!
Great service, but okay tacos for the price. I wish they had a bit more flavor. (Pictured is the pork taco and pear beet tacos.)
Overcooked fish tacos, so much so that the grilled tacos were chewy and crunchy with zero flakiness and the fried ones also were just so incredibly dry. It should not ever feel like you’re eating chicken when you’re eating fish due to the consistency of it. The salsas were okay but they had the consistency of vinegar. The shells of the taco were old, not fresh, as they had hardened up on the edges too much and weren’t soft anymore. I’m not really sure how you mess up tacos this badly, when it’s essentially the main menu item here. It would be one star except that the staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant looked really clean when I went in to grab my pickup order. The food itself did not match the hype of these reviews. I’m super disappointed.
Very tasty margaritas with fun garnishes! Prompt and professional service. Our food came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The tacos are inventive and pretty tasty, although under seasoned. Churros we’re almost good but we’re underdone (batter in the center). They have multiple specials for drinks, apps, and entres.
OMG I totally love this place. Every taco I've had here is amazing Ok, well maybe not that one fish one, but maybe fish tacos aren't my thing :) Anyway I love coming here with my girls. I always get the spicy watermelon margarita. Who am I kidding I always order two. YUM Cant wait to come back!!!!
