Great! Fresh and 100% LEGIT Vietnamese foods!! The pho was so flavorful and fresh I still feel honored to have eaten it! This place Wat, way exceeded my expectations… we both had bahn mi. I had cold cuts and it was so so tasty! And my wife had the curried tofu and is still telling everyone how good it was!! Bravo!!

The food was top notch. The ordering process was fast casual with self ordering systems. Easy simple menu. The egg rolls are vegan but I could barely tell and it was delicious. The food came out pretty quickly. The pork belly spring rolls were excellent and you could tell all of the vegetables we're fresh and good quality. The ingredients in the banh mi I got was awesome. Thick cuts of meat, plenty of pate, and the bread was perfectly toasted so it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The side of pho broth I received was good as well. You could tell it's been cooked over many hours. I will be trying the pho next time I come again. The restaurant was super clean which I like. The restaurant's restroom was extremely clean which I can appreciate too.

Delicious pho and great service. Order was super quick, great price and the facility was very clean. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here all the time! I ordered the lunch special which included the drink.

Clean and inviting inside. Self serve, simplified menu and quick. We had the Beef Pho and Banh Mi Sandwich with Pork Belly with a side of soup and rice chips. It looked so good and smelled sooo delish, I didn't have a chance to take a photo and dove right in!!!! I didn't expect much when I came in and thought the food might be a fusion instead of the traditional Vietnamese I am used to. But, the food did not disappoint! I actually love the way their sandwich was made! And the side rice chips was very pretty presentation, both went very well together! Love it!!! I hope you will add more variety to your menu. Wish you Goodluck! I will be back :) oh and might I add! Try the Beignet Bites!!! Delicious ?

When my wife and I were in SLC and needing lunch, there was not even a question as to where we’d go: I’ve been looking forward to trying Tamarind and we were absolutely pleased beyond expectations. We shared a big bowl of beef phở, an order of loaded tots with a fried egg on top and the garlic butter beef, and a teriyaki chicken bahn mi. We didn’t need that much food, but we wanted to make sure we tried a bunch of stuff. Portion sizes were generous. We brought home about half and I’m looking forward to the leftovers for lunch today! ? Prices were absolutely reasonable. I’d have liked more drink choices (Diet Dr Pepper perhaps?) but that’s a minor quibble. The flavors are complex and nuanced, just like I love with any Asian cuisine. Tamarind was easily the best Vietnamese food I’ve had. Not surprising I suppose since, as I saw on their website, they use authentic family recipes.Tamarind will be our new go-to when downtown, hands down.

Okay, I have to admit I had low expectations for this place but... wow! Their food totally blew my mind. I love the entire concept and design of the restaurant. Everything is streamlined - you order and pay at a self kiosk and your food comes out fast. Their pho tastes just like my mom's (straight out of saigon) and they make their Thai tea just right. I even had their lunch bowls and bulgolgi fries and was still impressed. It's been a while since I've written a glowing review for Viet food since I mainly cook the Viet dishes I'm craving at home, but if anyone is interesting in trying great Vietnamese cuisine in an urban/modern setting, then definitely come here. I'm coming back for sure.

I came for the crepes but they weren’t on the menu for whatever reason. I got the pho instead and it was probably the best I’ve had in Salt Lake City. The service was pretty lousy and the interior was weird and smelled like ammonia, but the food more than made up for it. I really hope they expand their menu because the food is fantastic.

If you're a pho fan, this place is a must!!Tamarind is so damn good!!! I had the chicken pho & man! It was so good. The broth is light with almost a sweetness to the after taste. And it was packed with chicken.Spring rolls are so fresh and yummy as well.I will definitely be coming back when I'm downtown next.

Clean restaurant look; fast and not overwhelming service. You order at a kiosk, which is preferable for me. Definitely enough noodles in the pho, broth was a little sweet, there was enough meat and it was good quality (though not super fatty). The crepe was the best thing: the sauce is spot on, and the texture was crispy on the outside, not doughy throughout, had enough filling to be satisfying. The bahn mi was okay; not enough vegetables though. Overall, I feel good about coming back when in the mood for something fresh, which SLC usually lacks.

I loved the food and environment . Quick and excellent services . The price was a little to high for the portion. The pho broth is very clean and yummy. You didn’t need to add extra sauces. I will definitely be back to try others menu items .
