It was lunch time, but we got breakfast and boy were we glad we did. The blueberry biscuit bread pudding French toast was out of this world, especially with the added fruit and whipped cream. The biscuit, chicken, egg, gravy dish was also really good, with the special hash browns.
Customer service is great, food came out pretty quick.I love fresh OJ but for some reason their juice was different. .. I guess with oranges it’s a hit and miss, you never know when you’re gonna get good juice out of those babiesI got the Roger plate and let me tell you, they have the best biscuits and raspberry jelly ever, deliciously fresh. The eggs are just eggs, nothing different than other places. I didn’t finish my hash browns because the ketchup had a bitter taste… but remember, I’m a very picky girl ?
My Dad and I visited on a recent outing to SLC looking for a tasty breakfast one morning and Sweet Lake hit the spot for us. I had been craving eggs benedict for a few days prior, so I was pleased to find and order their version on the menu, and pleased at the dish delivered to the table. High quality ingredients and a superb taste profile make this a dish I would eat over and over if I lived closer.
Absolutely a great place for breakfast and amazing Biscuits. Had the Biscuits Benedict and wife had the Rodger. Very good food and the Potato Hash was crispy exterior and soft inside. Coffee was nothing to complain about. Servers and staff are super, always checking in on you.
Stopped in SLC from a road trip and wanted to check out local favorites; unfortunately, the food looked better than it tasted. Lack of flavor, service wasn’t that great. If you want service with an attitude, bland food, and have your drink order mixed up—THIS is the place for ya!!
Great food, terrible service. Every time we have came here the service is complete dog water but the food is always a hit. The banana pudding French toast is amazing. Not to mention the Hispanic middle aged man gossiping with the female hostess about their terrible parking out front. Great food and that's about it.
Great, unique spot for breakfast.I was happy to be seated instantly, but that’s the benefit of Utah on a Sunday morning. Our food came out quickly. Prices are fair. The menu is fairly simple but every option is innovative and fun. Most items revolve around their biscuits, which are awesome. The service was good. Parking is fine. This location is simpler than their Draper location but still a good spot to eat at.Their limeades are delicious. They serve cocktails based on them too.The food was all great, only complaint was one dish wasn’t hot enough when it was served.
came here after a night out and the food here was so yummy!! the portion sizes are also so large for the price :) the food came out so fast and the service was great! also the wait is kind of long but i always appreciate restaurants that have the yelp waitlist available to join!for drinks, we got a mint limeade and a honeydew mint limeade (i personally liked the mint limeade more but my boyfriend liked the honeydew mint limeade more because it was less sour, so completely up to personal preference!)for food, we got the- hoss: absolutely amazing and such a wonderful brunch food. I didn't think the biscuit would be that good but it was THAT good!! also paired with a juicy and crispy chicken breast, bacon and an egg oozing out, it was so satisfying! the gravy was amazing and the side of hash browns were soo good and crispy!- utah cobb: we wanted something more light to pair with the hoss and this was also a great salad!! i'm not a huge salad person but because they added chicken breast on top, which was so crispy, it was so game changing for me! the sauce they had also was so good!!
A very delicious and filling meal of biscuits, eggs, cheese, bacon and sausage gravy. I tried the Hoss meal and hot tea on my last day. Definitely an experience to talk about with friends and family if you are visiting. They have both seating in the front and back of the restaurant and I was seated promptly.
Loved the food, my Cubano was great. Super friendly and helpful staff. My wife and son both loved theirs. We all got limeade as well. All good but i liked the mint one least, a little bland. I had orange and berry limeade and it was great. A little expensive for a breakfast, but to treat yourself it's worth it.
