I will start by saying…. I normally do not give a poor review without a good reason. My crew mate and I went in search of Thai food…. We went to one place before this one but the vibe was just off. We got to this place Skewered Thai and at first it was wonderful, the ambiance the small space just wonderful. We ordered a bottle of wine, appetizers, then the entrees. Our servers name is MAY. As soon as the entree came so followed the check ( as to say hurry up ) Every few minutes after she kept coming back to our table and asking if everything was ok and were we ready for a to go boxes, we had just gotten the entree. I ask one of the staff were they closing and he said “ we close at 2100 “ here is was 2030. I am paying attention now and we were the only table being asked so many times if we were ready, not even the folks that walked in at 2015. I will say though the food ? is amazing but the service from MAY is poor. Don’t let my experience prevent you from some good Thai food just have a different server.

Eating at Skewered Thai is such a delightful experience. The restaurant is located inside a cute historic home retrofitted with Thai decor. The staff is friendly, and they seem to recognize regular guests. The food is incredibly delicious and balanced! I would personally recommend the curries (especially the pumpkin curry with tofu). Will definitely come back here time and time again!

Hands down the best meal I had in SLC. Exhausted from a day traveling my girlfriend and I stopped here on a whim because we were staying nearby. I'm glad we did because the food was amazing. It was so good I ended up ordering it again during my 5 day stay. Dishes we had:Green Curry Fried Rice: AwesomePumpkin Curry: AwesomePineapple Currry: ... also awesomeApp Sampler: Good. I thought the fried tofu was cooked very well. Crispy on the outside and buttery inside.Mango Sticky Rice: My girlfriend said it's the best she's ever had.Note to the restaurant: Play whatever music you like. Just keep the magic in the kitchen going. Thank you!

Their Curry's are excellent as are all their other dishes. The staff is friendly. This is our go to Thai restaurant in Salt Lake City. We eat here often. Our last visit was this afternoon for Mother's day lunch. Let me just say that mom was very happy with lunch!

Great tasty food - ask for at least a 3/5 if you like it hot. Nice service too. Would definitely recommend this place just across the road from Trolley Square.

Unfortunately, the food was incredibly sweet and not in line with authentic Thai food. The service was slow and sloppy - the wait staff did not clear plates off our table and it took a very long time to get a bowl of pad Thai noodles. Would not recommend if you are looking for authentic Thai.

Excellent place to eat! Very cute vibe and wonderful service. Calamari was tasty, Tom Kha was wonderful! My only comment to the restaurant is that all of the food was a touch salty and could use to be dialed back a bit.

Good lord, best panang and calamari I've had in the valley! So tasty I'm craving it now. Parking can be trick as it's right off of 7th but there are a few spots right behind it. You could park at trolley and walk there. Can't wait to go back in the summer. Looks like they have a nice patio upfront that'd make a great summer night spot.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for many years, but now that I work as a driver for Uber eats and DoorDash you have treated me poorly. For you to be polite do I have to pay a tip?I am patient and respectful, becuase I too have worked in a restaurant. But you have to understand that drivers are people and should be respected, because I respresent the customer.

A really awesome tasting Thai restaurant.I would recommend one thing though the music needs to be more authentic. Playing Katy Perry and pop music definitely takes the atmosphere away from me.I like authenticity for my food for sure. But all in all great tasty curry.
