Fantastic Thai! We were lucky to find this gem in the city! The food is absolutely delicious and the family who owns the restaurant is very nice! They all came out to present the food and were very gracious with us explaining all their traditions. The restaurant is spacious with traditional decoration. Absolutely recommended! We hope to go back soon!

This place is a hidden treasure. The owner is the chef and provides excellent Thai food in exquisite style. They have been open for about 6 months and expect to become known by word of mouth gradually but I had to talk about it.The owner is a real pro having worked at some very fine establishments over the past 40 years. We tried a few dishes and the flavor and texture was great. We also tried two styles of rice and found it done perfectly. The outside of the building is not very inviting but when we entered we went in to a different atmosphere. This is a fun place to introduce a friend to as it is so questionable at first glance and so beautiful and warm inside with moderate prices and great presentation of the food.

Definitely a place you need to stop at. Was skeptical at first because of the outside appearance. I was wrong. Inside is very nice and beautiful. The owners and the owner’s sister were amazing. Definitely will be bringing my friends and family here again. Appetizers were the kids favorite. Massaman curry was a hit.

Very friendly staff and great service. They have a tofu option for just about everything who’s is great. The Tom Ka soup was really good and had amazing vegetables but wasn’t sweet like most Tom Ka soups. Also they don’t have fresh spring rolls, only fried. They were good I just prefer fresh. The Panang curry was amazing. It was spicy but so good.

This family owed restaurant has awesome food and great prices. The owners are super friendly too. When the food came, they brought use some authentic condiments and picked chilies which were a great addition to the meal. The mango sticky rice is the best I’ve had.

We ate here tonight and it was so good! We tried quite a few dishes and the flavors were delicious. Our favorites were: Appetizers: coconut shrimp, curry puffs (the little dish of cucumber salad was?). Entrees: pad Thai (so good), spicy basil chicken, crab fried rice, Tom ka, and one of the dishes came with this apple salad, similar to papaya salad but with grated apples and it was delicious ? I couldn't stop eating. We had great service and great food. We can't wait to go back. I wish I would've taken more pictures.

Right off of State Street. Some of the best Pad Kee Mao I've had! Extremely nice people. Definitely a must! And definitely will be coming back next time I'm in Salt Lake!

Best Thai food I’ve ever experienced. Worth stopping at Salt Lake City just for this food. Absolutely authentic and even more delicious, a must have for anyone looking for a quality meal.

1st time coming here I was really happy with our experience at Sara Thai. I tried tons of different plates and the mix of flavors were unexpected and delicious. Service was quick and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

I forgot to take a picture before I started destroying this delicious food, but it’s absolutely amazing! It’s also nice to get a little nostalgia with lunch. I’m sitting up on what used to be the stage of The Woodshed. If you’re looking for some ridiculously good and well priced Thai food, along with reminiscing of days gone by, I’d get down here quick! The staff is also super welcoming, and the Chef came out to say hello. Great food and service!
