I’ve visited multiple times with large to small groups and every time the experience has been consistently great.I’ve had their sushi, pho, entree bowls, and cocktails and every single dish has been delicious.Service is awesome, waiters are attentive and food delivery is quick. It’s worth coming to! The only downside is there really isn’t a reservation system for smaller parties but honestly they work well with getting as many people in as they can that the wait times are very limited.Otherwise Sapa delivers in providing a great dining experience!
We only had Sushi rolls. One roll (sunrise) was fantastic. Two rolls were above average, and one (spider) was just okay. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Our water was refilled regularly. They were busy, so the food took longer than expected. Overall, it was a good meal and I would definitely go back for another.
Came here for my anniversary dinner. The Food and Drinks were phenomenal . Our servers were friendly and attentive and did a great job keeping up with us.We ordered for drinks Purple Haze "Hot "?, and The Geisha which is one of there specialty cocktails very refreshing and went perfect with our sushi ?The Rolls we ordered were Sunset , Philidalphia, Dragon Balls which is one of there fried rolls , The Golden Cali
I had the chance to eat here in April with friends. I was very excited, as I’d heard good things. I ordered the drunken noodles while everyone else ordered sushi rolls. Their food came out first and that’s fine. And time went on and on and they kept saying it would be done soon but it was time to go before it was done and they had to bring me my food in a to go container. I ate it at home and it was tasty and I wanted to give them another chance so three weeks later I brought a different group of friends there and ordered the same thing. And time goes on and on and on and the waitress brings the check and I’m like where is my food I have eaten nothing and she said they were out of noodles but forgot to tell me so I sat there for an hour and didn’t have anything to eat. Once would be a fluke but twice on different shifts with different staff?? I think it’s a feature and not a bug…. I’m 44 and in 44 years I’ve never left a restaurant with my entire meal in a To Go container because they forgot to make my meal or left a restaurant without eating because they forgot to tell me they were out of the dish I ordered. If you’re going to sushi apparently everything could fine. But if you order Not Sushi, who knows what will happen. I’m not going back for a 3rd attempt. They should stick to what they are good at and not have a huge menu with entrees and noodles and whatnot.
We started with the tempura shrimp which were excellent! They were incredibly crisp and the sauce was delicious. They were definitely the surprise hit of the meal. Our favorite roll of the night was the Mex. The crab in it was delicious, and the avocado gave the roll a nice creamy texture. It was a simpler roll, but we enjoyed it more than the busier rolls because it highlighted the individual ingredients more. To be clear, all of the rolls were delicious! Their ingredients are just so good that the simple rolls allow them to shine IMO.The restaurant was a bit chilly, so bring a jacket. It did take a long time for the rolls to be made, so be ready for a wait.I look forward to returning to try more of their rolls!
We arrived right at open at 5pm. Already a line but we were seated quickly. They do an ID scan and stamp if you wish to drink alcohol. We ordered beer and wine. Started with the chefs special role kiss of death. The rolls were great! Fresh fish and tasty. Jalapeño dish and dragon balls. Not my cup of tea. Fried steamed rice with some filling for the dragon balls. Just not good. Spicy edamame was expensive but fine. Teriyaki beef plate was ok as was the filet mignon. It was piled on top of fried rice with some cream which wasn’t good. Waitress was nice! I would come back for the rolls. That’s about it.
Loved my experience at Sapa. The sushi and appetizers were all delicious. They have a big menu selection to pick from and an impressive lunch menu that offers pho as well. It’s a big space and can seat a lot of people but is very busy. I recommend showing up and reserving ahead of time. The surrounding area makes it difficult to find parking but there is also a paid parking lot next door but make sure you pay or you’ll get a ticket. Definitely will be back! Loved the environment and staff
Sapa is my favorite sushi place in Utah. Incredible rolls . Make sure you get the Maui Wowwie, Dragon and Spider rolls. Great ambiance. Beautiful courtyard. Highly recommend. Perfect for lunch meetings. @dougjessopnews @abc4utah #tvpersonality #jessopsjournal #utahsuccessstories
I loved this place. I knew this had to be a good one because there's always a line and even more people waiting outside. The food was really good, I enjoy raw fish very much when it tastes fresh and high quality, the salmon and yellow tail were amazing. The tempura was really good and the rolls to die for, super tasty. I also enjoyed the Sake and beer options. Recommended.
My boyfriend eric lindgren loves this place. He forgot to mention the best parts though. The food. I must go.
