Neat place. Fair prices and delicious flavors. I wet for the Mexican Mocha and we also tried the Horchata. Nicely service, plenty of room for chatting and hanging out. Pretty easy street parking and an airy patio space to get some rays.
My favorite local, downtown coffee shop. The owners are amazing and the staff reflects that. This is a great option if you’re in need of a study/work environment. I highly recommend their brew. Either a hot mocha (not too sweet) or iced horchata coffee with coconut milk.
Awesome coffee shop! Quiet seating areas and beautiful deck outdoor seating area. Barista was super nice and the coffee was delicious. I came like 10 minutes before close and they treated me super well. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely love Roots Coffee. The cold brew was great, but I’m more in love with the coffee shop itself. So many different rooms to sit in, including the tables out front and upper patio area. They’re so lucky i don’t live in SLC, or I’ll be there studying/working everyday and using their WiFi! The price of the cold brew was similar to most coffee shops.I didn’t see a parking lot that belonged to them, but I was able to park in a lot a couple of buildings away. I’m guessing that’s a designated place, since others were parking there too. Street parking isn’t the best.Finding coffee shops like Roots gives me life!
The coffee and the baristas did not disappoint! Very pleased with both drinks (caramelo and hazel rush) - perfect balance of rich espresso and flavoring. The chocolate covered espresso beans were the perfect finishing touch.
Great coffee and great experience on 3/13/22. The three workers on staff were wonderful this morning. The cafe is super dog-friendly and even have “Bark Brews” on the house (whip cream with a dog treat in the middle). Our dog ate it up. The coffee was delicious on top of that. Thank you!
Roots has the friendliest baristas! Great coffee, but I also love their London Fog (they add lavender, so good). Often add chocolate covered espresso beans on top of your to-go cup as a sweet touch. Nice space upstairs to hang out/work as well.
Great customer service and the coffee is legit good! Try the Horchata latte...YUM! Also, overheard one of the baristas training a newbie...it's obvious their training is thorough, thoughtful, and all about the coffee and the people. There is plenty of seating upstairs and even a small patio that overlooks the glorious mountain range. Highly recommend!
Coffee shop of our dreams. The atmosphere, the staff, and the coffee, everything is great. It’s really unique. We aren’t from here so just experiencing this was very nice. There are many options to choose from. There’s something for everyone. Three cups of coffee layer and we didn’t want to leave. The second floor is adorable and has a balcony.On a side note — perfect for Instagram pictures.
