This is as good of a “Mexican” market as Utah has to offer very limited items and higher prices on basics than other stores such as bread and or shelf stable items. The panderia is pretty solid but lack variety of savory and fresh bread.
won't even let people use the bathroom when they have to go so bad it hurts. You guys are lucky I wasn't there when you denied a bathroom to my wife when she had to go so bad it hurt or I might have called the police to resolve the matter! what kind heartless people do you have working there?
Ordered some soup that’s already made and ready to be served. There was 7 employees in the kitchen. No one in line to order and I waited over 20 minutes to get my food. Management! What’s happening here?
Good food and produce can be more expensive than in other grocery stores. Still, they are mainly tailored to the Hispanic and Latino communities and ok for the pale community like myself. Jk, I'm Hella tan....I think.
The lady at the self check out did not want to let me used the restroom says is was getting clean despite the fact that they were im waiting on food to ready the lady’s says just wait after 20 min?
Very clean store with fresh produce.. and their ice cream shop is great
Its a nicely stocked supermarket with all the ethnic foods you may expect and more. They have different kiosks or departments which in some of them you have to pay in the same area. Ie. The panaderia, the kitchen/restaurant, the aguas frescas before you continue your shopping in the general area of the store. So be prepared to pay for specialty items separately. There is usually no wait time or very little. The kitchen may be the most time consuming getting your order ready but its expected, since most meals they prep for you they include everything you may need later on. Like if you order menudo or caldo de res, they warm tortillas, give you prechopped onion, cilantro, red peppers, limes all from scratch. Plus silverware and napkins. If youre not used to waiting a good 10-15 minutes, then order here first and continue your shopping to make it more convenient as this aint your typical fast food restaurant. Its more like a traditional sit-down waited service, even if you order to go. In which you may want to call ahead and place your order so its ready when you come in. Overall, great visit. Like other reviews say, it does help if you can at least understand Spanish a bit. It really does a long way in getting exactly what you need and not be misunderstood. Food tastes great like homemade, and its affordable and appealing. The closest thing to the real deal authentic, and I've had my fair share its hard to find meals this good nowadays. Im bookmarking this place for sure! 5 ?
