Had the new $10.99 Pulled Pork Sandwich with Pineapple minus the cheese. It came loaded with meat but I recommend adding your own sauce as the one it was served with was too sweet for me. I had the BBQ Beans served as a side and the portion size was huge. Beans have a sweet taste to them so overhaul my meal was too sweet and lacked that BBQ.. Smoked Flavor. Other items on menu looked delicious and more traditional and probably has more of the BBQ flavor I was looking for. Nice dining area and service was good.
Brisket chopped sandwich with a side of white coleslaw was perfectly cooked and tender. The pulled chicken sliders and potato salad was another wise choice. This is another place to return to when in Utah!!
“Caveman” hamburger is a meat fest especially with additional bacon. Unfortunately, the burger ordered rare, while red, was far from juicy. Some bbq houses put brisket in their burger to bump up the fat/moisture content. It’s unfair of me to expect something like that when it wasn’t promised. So, for a meaty sandwich with nice variety of sides, four stars. But for a dry, not really enjoyable burger, less than five. Fun atmosphere. Looks like a good place.
We ordered two meals - one off the kids menu and another from the adults for $27. The food was tasty and on the table there was a choice of 4 different BBQ sauces. The food was good and given the price I was very surprised. You need to make sure you use the sauces on the table as they don’t come with bbq sauce so the pulled pork would have been a little dry.
This was by far the worst R and R I’ve been to. The food was cold. Literally not warm at all. Not only that, but my peach cobbler was peach cobbler soup. My portion of brisket was ALL fat and inedible. My husband also had a strand of hair in his pulled pork and didn’t realize it until he found it in his mouth. ?? we usually never have any issues at other locations, but this location was absolutely terrible and we won’t be back.
It was alright. Ordered some fried pickles and a half pan of mac n cheese for pickup. Was told 20 minutes. Got there and the mac wasn't ready; no big deal. Asked for the pickles so I could munch those while waiting. They were warm, soggy and very salty. I ate a few and tossed them. The mac was ready about 15 minutes later. They apologized for the wait and made up for the pickles. I thanked them and left. Got to the house and opened the mac. It was pretty disappointing. It was noodles in cheese soup. We drained some of the sauce out (it was that runny) and put it in the oven to try to thicken it up. No hard feelings but I won't be ordering from there in the future. The employees are very friendly.
We just ordered to go today. They were so fast but the food was still very fresh and high-quality. I always liked the brisket but we tried the chicken thighs today. everything there is good!
TO begin I did not receive my full order. The order I did receive did not have any BBQ sauce. WTF! I did not get any utensils or napkins. Again probably because I didn't get any BBQ sauce. The chicken and brisket I did receive was dry and extremely undesirable. I believe this food is from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre family.
Checking the reviews I was expecting this place to be really good. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. I got the spicy sausage, and brisket and they tasted almost exactly the same.. you could taste more of the grill than the meat. Also a sad lack of seasoning - possibly why people in Utah love it.Overall it's a pretty basic choice; not terrible, but not worth the price. The coleslaw was good though.
Love their meat! Good size portions. You don't even need sauce because of how delicious the smoky flavor is. The chicken was so tasty.
