Chicken Chicken Shop

My husband heard about this places, so we had to give it a try. It’s very nice and modern atmosphere. They have tablets set up to place your order. No need to stand in line and have someone take your order. The only thing we found with ordering, the tip was automatically selected. Instead of going to a next step and asking if you want to leave a tip. (Like most places do).We both ordered the three piece tenders. I got the medium spice level and my husband got the hot spice level. Our order came out pretty fast. But, we had to guess which one was hot and which one was medium. They don’t mark what is what. So we took a guess. We thought the dark red one was hot and the lighter one was medium. It was the other way around. The chicken is nice and juicy, the breading was crispy at first, then would fall off the chicken easily. But, over all the food was good and we enjoyed trying a new place.

I TRIED THE DARK MEAT VERSION AT THE PARK CITY LOCATION. IT WAS A TO-GO ORDER. IT WAS DRY-ALMOST COLD. I THINK IT WAS PRE-COOKED, NOT TO ORDER. THE FRIES WERE LUKE WARM AT BEST. VERY DISAPPOINTED. ALL THE HYPE :(:( The Lady at the counter was Terrific. Very Helpful.:):) VinceT. Wyoming...

The issue that Pretty Bird has is the freshness of the food that they serve. You will likely want something served hot with some hot seasonings, but it falls a bit flat when you get a lukewarm piece of chicken in a box.The actual flavor is phenomenal! The seasonings are flavorful and include some surprise flavors that you won't expect. We got the three piece tenders at the medium spicy level. They look a bit dry since they aren't dripping in fat like other chicken joints but the exterior is crispy and the inside juicy. Also, the sauces are terrific.I just wish they wouldn't hold food so long. Customers will wait for it to be hot hot hot!

This place is so good. Honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Menu is simple - basically two types of chicken sandwiches. I ordered the classic sando first and it was so good I went back the next day and ordered the chicken tender roll. They’re both terrific. Can’t really go wrong. Also love their kiosk ordering system. No line even though the place was packed, and the food was ready so quickly.

Absolutely delicious chicken sandwich. I’ve had the tenders as well but their signature sandwich is the best. My spice level preference is Mild, but there is no shortage of flavor. The fries are also not to be underestimated. Friendly and accommodating staff! Cool vibe. Will definitely be back again on future trips to SLC.

This place was super super good. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. We LOVED the fries, juicy chicken, and coleslaw and would definitely eat here again. BUT there are a few things I would change. The Mexican corn salad was just nottttt it. It’s cold and has a bunch of chickpeas in it. Would’ve loved some hot street corn off the cob! Also, the buns really need a light toasting before the sandwich is assembled.Small note: this is nowhere near as spicy as Nashville hot chicken so definitely go a few levels up if you want to feel the spice.

I love nashville hot chicken. It's one of my favorite dishes, in 2019 I discovered Pretty Birds downtown SaltLake City location and drove an hour to try it right away. Very good, hearty sandwich, I moved out of state a and haven't been back since now. I was excited to find out they had a new location with better seating than the downtown location. The overall sandwich was good. I use to get the medium however now that they have a no heat level I think that all the heat levels bumped down in spice; so my medium was essentially a mild.I was additionally disspointed that there was barely any of their signature sauce on the sandwich, if I would have know I only got a single swoop of a squirt I would have paid the extra 50c for extra sauce on the side. It's not that the sandwich was dry with the lack of sauce but it felt like I was just chomping on the purple cabbage slaw to moisten the sandwich versus having all the flavors marry to create the delicious Nashville Hot Chicken I had come to expect.I don't know if I'll be coming back, unfortunately they are very few hot chicken places in utah so the competition factor isn't there to help Pretty Bird go back to its former glory before expanding to its 3 locations.Overall, it was a okay sandwich, but it was just a fried chicken thigh sandwich with alot of purple cabbage slaw on top....not was I was expecting.

We went here for lunch and got the spicy chicken sando combo meals, with all the toppings for the sandwich and at the "Hot" level for spicy-ness. One of us got the crinkle cut fries and the other got the Mexican corn salad sides. This was such a delicious chicken sandwich!! It was really comparable to Howlin' Ray's and that is our personal favorite for the best spicy chicken sandwiches! Was a bit taken back at our bill but when I took a bite of my chicken sandwich I knew why it was priced that way.Love that they have this second location in Sugarhouse!

Daaaaaaaaang! Coming from the South, and living in Hawai’i for a little while, I appreciate spicy foods. This is outstanding! Chicken sando was bomb! Highly recommend if you like hot chicken sandwiches. Oh yeah, the Mex Street corn was excellent too.

Wow! The Flavor is so unique! Amazing spices, pretty bird sauce is on point, always get stuffed when I go there. Personally I think the 3 chicken strip meal is the most food for the price. Love the tablet based ordering, no human interaction necessary. Fries are amazing... just... all around awesome.
