Walked in and was told there was a 30 minute wait. I saw 2 seats at the bar and was told it was open seating! We scored! Within minutes we had great beers! We shared the ahi rolls which were fresh and absolutely amazing with the wasabi sauce and the avocado! The bartender recommended we add the avocado and it was a great addition. We also shared an exceptionally good pizza with pesto, eggplant and bell peppers! The crust melted in your mouth! Sitting at the beginning of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon this place was perfect after a day spent exploring the canyons! We had great service and I really enjoyed sitting at the bar.
We had the most delicious lunch! The Greek pizza had large fresh tomatoes and big chucks of artichoke hearts. The Thai pizza had fresh ingredients and a mild curry finish. The pizza has my favorite light and crispy crust. I dupes my crust into the Tomato Basil soup. They have a large selection of local beers from breweries in the Salt Lake Valley. Not to mention the beautiful views of the valley. It was a perfect treat after hiking in a Big Cottonwood Canyon!!!!
Atmosphere was great, location is stunning, staff was on point. Food was pretty tasty, I had tequila line chicken to which sounded more like a Mexican dish but tasted more Asian. Flavor was still great just not what I thought by the description. Friend got the pablano steak and Cajun chicken Alfredo. Desserts were good, creme brûlée was delish!
The Porcupine Grille is right at the base of the Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons (think SKIING). It's crazy busy but for a good reason. The food is amazing and the service was excellent. We were a party of six and we all ordered something different and everyone loved what they ordered. As an added bonus at local artist, Abbie Matthews, had her photos on display throughout the restaurant...all the photos were of Utah locations and they were stunning. I would highly recommend eating here just plan on waiting for a table.
Big beer selection on draft. Great for sampling the local breweries. Food is on par with fridays or appleebees.
The food, drink and service was great. I would highly recommend the chicken noodle soup and mahi spring rolls. The chicken noodle soup is cream based and served with a warm roll. The mahi spring rolls were perfectly cooked, well made and the wasabi sauce rounded it all out.
We had an excellent meal (8 people). Everyone said it was the best meal of our trip. Pizza, ravioli and hamburgers. My second time to eat there and I recommend it 100percent.
First time here and we had a long wait but it was worth it! Food was delicious. The Ahi just melts in your mouth and you can taste the freshness. Our waiter was great too! Highly recommend this place- Descriptions of what we had are on each photo!Approved by @longtravelers
Just came home from another great pub and grille spot. Came on a Friday night during there busy time only had to wait for 45 mins to seat the 4 of us. Our server was great too with topping of our drinks and checking up on us. I had the Thai cuisine and added chicken. The peanut sauce was delicious. My wife had their pepperoni pizza, my bro n law had the wahoo tacos and sis n law had the ahi tuna entree. Out appetizer was the ahi spring rolls. The wasabi sauce with that was very hot if you like really spicy hot stuff. I calmed it down with the soy sauce and ginger and rice that was in the dish. We will definitely be back to try other foods on the menu. If you are in the Cottonwood Heights area and are looking for a place to get a drink and some great food, got to check this place out.?????
Server is a five star...attentive, great personality and perfect level of service. Vibe is 3 stars primarily because it's so loud you have to shout to hear someone sitting next to you. Beautiful views during the day of the mountains outside. Acoustics need work. Food is 4 stars. Wings are spot on, Verde burrito and the shrimp margherita pizza are always family favorites. Good beer selection.
