Drove 12 miles to get what seemed like a good item advertised on TV. When we arrived we asked about the special, 5 pieces of chicken and were they tenders. They said no just the chicken. We they asked, from the menu for 2 orders of the tenders instead. When we got to the window we also asked for an order of fries. We were told to pull up, even though no vehicles were behind us, to wait. We should have checked but the boxes seemed to be the right size. Starting with the fries, on the way home, they were cold and very greasy. When we got home we found 2 orders of just chicken, greasy, slimy and inedible. We will never go to this store again and it sure put a damper on Popeyes in general.
Service is lacking to say the least.The chicken tenders were so dried out you couldn't chew them.They also put my bag of fries in upside down in the big bag so they were just dumped everywhere.
This location is horrible, they charge me double and I told them that was wrong. So instead of correcting it on the register, she was doing the new amount on her phone. Then I told her that amount was still wrong, so she then did it on the register. Then when I got my chicken, it was all wrong and burnt. And they put the biscuits in the box with the chicken. They corrected it all for me there, cause I always check before I leave. But when I got home to eat, both of my large beans/rice were spoiled. So I had to throw it away. Next time I will go to the other location.
Who doesn’t love fried chicken? And Popeyes recipe is great!I do not like to give poor reviews. Especially one star reviews. But this location consistently has issues, and poorly managed, yet I still come frequently as it is convenient when leaving my office late. But this may discontinue as the frustration builds with each visit.First, there hours say they’re open until 10, but they stop making chicken around 9:00 (which often is as early ad 8:30 even locking the doors at this point.The chicken at this location though still edible, is clearly prepared in advance and under what I assume is heat lamps for a long time and or overcooked.The sides are constantly overcooked and more of a mush than than the food you intended to order.Lastly, I like to order through apps or online with most restaurants.. it’s disappointing that we can’t order Ala Carte chicken.. but more than that, the only way to get some items late is through the app as they will tell you they stopped making that item early through the drive thru or counter.. once you do get to the restaurant more than 50% of the time you will be directed to wait. Usually more than 20 minutes, has been as long as 45 at this restaurant.. no apology, no discount, no anything for the wait.. too bad Popeyes can be a much better experience than this (and I’m still talking fast food expectations)
It was a very bad experience! They charged our card 3 times, then only gave us half our food, when we went back they said they didn't even make what we ordered anymore! We asked why it was still on the menu an why they would charge us for something they no longer carried? They didn't say anything to us about the item, just let us belive it was in the bag! The sweet tea was hot, an had been left out as it had soured an to top it all it wasn't even sweet!
Food is bland and I wanted spicy, but too greasy. KFC has better quality and more bang for the bucks. I ordered the beans and rice to try it out and it tasted really funny as if if there was A mild taste of some kind of chemical or soap Taste very faint but very visible so I tossed the rest of it. Definitely too greasy because after Is about an hour into digestion I had a sour stomach ? ? ? ? ?
Very poor customer service and even worse chicken.The chicken and fries were both clearly prepared hours prior to the order. We went through the drive through and ate while on the road. The chicken and fries were both cold and hard. The soda also had no flavor to it. I'm baffled at how bad my experience was. I called and ask for a refund to no avail. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Just go a bit further for some chick fil a, Raising Cane's, or Zaxby's.
Popeyes is so delicious but this Popeyes need to train their employees and managers on customer service. I’m assuming the lady that was at the window is a manner because she had a black shirt on. I forgot to mention my coupon at the speaker and she wanted me drive back all the way around in the drive through. She could of easily voided the order and put a new one. I will never go back there.
My experience this evening was one of the worst at this location. The drive thru wait time was long. Once the cashier came over the intercom he was rude. After asking what I wanted, he proceeds to ignore me. When he finally came back, he asked me what I wanted again. I tried to place my order again, but he tells me all they have are tenders and they're not making any more chicken because they're in 20 minutes. I asked him why not express that from the beginning. He goes silent for a long time then says with an attitude "sorry". I wasn't expecting the attitude.I find that I always drive to another location to get better service and my order correct. The shame in this all is this location is across the street from my home.
Popeyes good food as always, tried the blackened chicken tenders finally, love them! Perfect balance of heat and spice. This Popeyes location food always seems to be fresher. Love that chicken from Popeyes Lol
