I'm the loyal customer but I can't believe that they served me worse and worse. I usually ordered my combo, one rice plate and a vietnamese cake plate for 24$. However, last time, I ordered the same dishes. Their quantity was not the same but they charged me the same price (I know they had already raised their price)... never come back!! GL tho
Worst restaurant ever. Their service was horrible. We got water and then nothing. We had to ask if we could order. We had to ask how much longer until our food would be done. We watched many of their other customers who were seated after us get their orders taken and food delivered long before us. Plus, their food had NO TASTE! It was awful. I left my whole entree sitting there. I would never go back. This place is next to a grocery store so if you like eating dinner watching people come and go then this is the place for you. I would NEVER go back or recommend to anyone.
The Wonton Noodle soup was delish. The broth alone was great! The wontons were not what I was expecting, but I had nothing to compare it to. The pork in it imo made the dish. My husband said the pho with tripe was really good but my broth was better than his. I didn't try his before he made it spicy. The fresh rolls were good enough, we like them better at Thai Issan. The waitress was probably about 15yrs old & instead of sitting our plates/bowls down quietly on the table, she practically dropped ours. Otherwise would be 5 stars.
They often ran out of basic stuff and the quality is not stable. Recently the quality has become an issue. Bun Bo hue used to have one piece of pork feet. Now it is being replaced by some junk sausage. Won’t go back again.
Spicy rice noodle is good. I like it more than pho.
This is the best food I ate over my 4 days in SLC.Banh hoi was very good, as was the Viet egg coffee and Viet iced coffee. My Viet husband loved the pho. Prices were great.I'd eat here again next time in in town.
Best Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant in SLC. A lot of the dishes on the menu are delicious with a reasonable price.
The Pho is legit. Made with real bone broth. The real deal. Not like so many fake instant pho found all over town. Also, the Bún Mắm is so authentic. The only place I have found who serves this dish. Wow! I'll be back.
Lots of unique options here. It seems to be a family run business and everything is authentic and tasty that I tried. I had a “stinky fish” noodle soup and a tofu spring roll. Even late in the afternoon, we’ll before dinner time there were plenty of customers. Definitely I would come back to try some of the other things they offer here.
[August26,2021] soup #M6 was awesome
