You need to go here if ya haven’t!! The best breakfast in town. I love the breakfast burger — loaded with lots of bacon, an egg + comes with a side of fries. My wife gets the breakfast nachos — house made tortilla chips with two eggs, chile verde, cheese, sour cream and salsa. And make sure to get a side of their fluffy heavenly hot cakes. THANK ME LATER.
Overall, my order was wrong and the service was slow. We were seated and had decided on what we wanted to eat. Our waitress never came around to our table and we had to flag her down, which took about 20 minutes. I get that they might be understaffed, but there was no explanation or apology for the delay.I ordered a Chile Verde omelet with no jalapeños. The omelet I got was missing the Chile Verde and the pork. I gave it a chance thinking maybe it was inside the omelet, but there was just tons of tomato, onion, and cheese. By the time our waitress came back around to check on us (another 20 minutes), my party was already done eating and I didn’t want to wait longer for chili verde and pork. Pretty disappointed since I’ve had better food and service at Penny Ann’s before.
Long wait but worth it the food was fantastic, bring your appetite , the portions are big. Looks like a local favorite it was busy the entire time we were there. If you know you want to go there I would suggest putting yourself on the wait list through yelp, it will cut down on your wait time.I had the Spanish omelet, it comes with home fries and another side so I ordered pancakes. They were really good but again large portion and I could not eat all of it. My husband ordered “The ultimate biscuits and gravy”, since his plate was empty I’m going to assume he loved it :) Would definitely recommend and I hope to go back before our vacation in Utah is over.
I had a really good experience at this Cafe, it's a busy place yet the wait wasn't that long and was fairly easy to track waiting time. Once seated drinks came quickly and once we ordered the food didn't take as long either. Yet I wasn't in a hurry or rush otherwise it would have been a different experience. Has a good atmosphere where you can go with someone enjoy some delicious food. The food made the experience that much better, you get a lot of delicious food with the big breakfast which I ordered. I honestly don't have any complaints or bad things to say. The restroom was also very clean. I would highly recommend this Cafe and will be going back.
Seriously the best breakfast food in the area. It’s our go to when we want cozy diner food and since they offer online ordering, we can easily get it on the weekends when the restaurant is packed!
I've eaten here a few times, I've enjoyed it each time and the service is always friendly. There's been a wait each time I've been; I recommend getting on their wait list if you can, or check the wait time before you go. The food takes a bit to come out, but it's hot, fresh, the portions are huge and worth the wait.
Service was awesome! We got our food and drinks in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly and seemed happy to be there.
What a delightful dining experience! From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, to when we were able to enjoy of first bit of delicious food was maybe 5 min. That has literally never happened to me - not even at a fast food restaurant. And, the food was delicious! I had the intimate biscuits and gravy and my wife had the Irish burger. Both were served piping hot and very fresh. Our server - Ana - was friendly, quick, and gave us some great menu recommendations. We left completely satisfied with the entire experience. Thanks, PAC! Chile Verde on point, everthing delicious and quick as usual. James was awesome as our server. Their online reservations are a good option for crowded weekend seating. #pennyannsdraper
