Pretty laid back place!
Avoid at all costs. Not because of the drinks, the service, or the atmosphere, or the crowd— all of which have my compliments, in fact— but because of the profoundly badly behaved ID checker at this place. I swear this guy was drunk. This guy (an employee!) would straight up randomly walk up to tables and interrupt peoples’ conversations, openly insulted bar patrons, wouldn’t stop talking and would go on with these back-to-back fifteen minute long anecdotes, ignored the front door and left people waiting to enter, and even heckled women outside the bar. This guy caused our entire party immense discomfort. Again, avoid at all costs, specifically because of this guy.
Environment was good. Nice and quaint. The bar tender was less than impressive.4 stars for being exactly what we were looking for that evening. Not too loud. Not too busy.
Great drinks and Topher was the best bartender. . My new fav when I am in Salt Lake visiting.
Went there on Saint Patricks day at 8pm… no Irish music .. no audible music really and out of Guinness… how do you screw that up.. the one slam dunk of the year and you can’t deliver. What a joke
This review is for the extremely rude bartender serving on Saturday night. I asked for water and he told me that if I wanted water I came to the wrong place, and then ignored me the rest of the time i was there. He then decided to kick our whole group out of the bar because another person asked for a few drinks and some waters. Since we all wanted water, he believed we had been drinking too much and told us he wouldn’t serve us.
Great place. Staff was awesome. Drink prices are great. Great crowd for people watching.
The little angry dude behind the bar was alright. The Irish car bombs were the best. 10/10 would recommend
Good Bar, Good Regulars
Not the most authentic Irish pub I've been to. Local hangout that has it's regulars.Drinks were acceptable, but the atmosphere was not as friendly to those who appeared touristy.
