The food is amazing! Options range from light health conscious entries to the sweet, perfectly fried pekking pork. This place is a gem, if you havent been try it out. Very much can recommend the teriyaki bowl, songapore noodles or the pekking pork!
Very good food , love the soups . Very friendly people and good value for dollar
I was very hesitant to order from Panwok because of the prices and uncertain if using a third party delivery service would arrive on time to deliver my food, so I decided to give some time to think about it.My partner decided to give it a try and place an order online to have the food delivered. The delivery went very smoothly but I wish that was the same for the food. I understand this is the winter season and the holidays, so it's probably busy over in Panwok but it shouldn't be the reason to cook mediocre food.Below I have pictures attached from my order only. I ordered the orange chicken and ham rice with Thai tea. The chicken was very chewy, that I almost choked a few times. I had to keep chewing till it was safe to swallow. I'm not sure if the chicken was breaded and then fried. I was expecting Panda Express type of orange chicken but the texturing and how it was cooked was nothing like Panda. The ham rice had a strange taste and I'm not sure if it was the ham itself but it kinda tasted like day old rice mixed with ham and soy sauce. I've had fried rice before but this is just "ham rice" with some sauce. Sadly, I had to stop eating this. Lastly, the Thai ice tea was a let down. I've had bad Thai ice teas that tasted like someone threw an old band aid in the drink and or they didn't rinse well and it tasted industrial soap. This thai ice tea probably need a little more half and half milk and a bit of sugar to balance out the bitterness a bit.I'm not sure if tonight was a bad night to order but I am disappointed because I was looking forward in trying out this food. This doesn't mean I'm going to toss out the food but luckily I can use the left over chicken make actual fried rice and make it palatable for me to snack on. This was my first experience and it turned out not good.
This is by far one of the friendliest and genuinely happy restaurants my wife and I have been to. The dynamic of the employees is so much fun. We live in Bountiful, but will hands down make the trip back here!
Really really bad ? Got takeout and it was cold and inedible. Couldn’t bite through the chicken it was so tough. Only mediocre thing were cream cheese wontons but they weren’t good enough to go back unfortunately.
Came in for lunch on a Saturday, food was amazing. We live on the other side of town but I'm sure we will be making the drive to get there food for sure
Friendly service, good food (Pho), fried wonton, Vietnamese Egg Rolls
Ordered orange chicken from them and aside from the chicken itself having next to no flavour, the orange sauce tasted only like sugar with no other flavor. It was as though they were doused in syrup and nothing else. Even with the soy sauce packets, it wasn't enough to save the food. The ham fried rice was OK, also without much flavor. It was very sad as me and my wife had been looking forward to our dinner for several hours.
Good food. Fresh. Convenient to my home in Holladay.
Worth every penny. Fast, affordable, and amazing. We ordered pork lo mein, potstickers, orange chicken, sweet sour, and ham fried rice. We split it up between the three of us and have leftovers. ????? Screw panda express.
