Quiet, welcoming ambience with attentive and knowledgeable service made my return to Oasis after several years away a great homecoming. Creative twists on familiar dishes made for a pleasant eating adventure. Oasis is a regular must-visit for me whenever I'm in Salt Lake City.

I ordered one thing I loved on the menu which was the halibut. It was so overcooked and rubbery, no flavor and the risotto was gummy. I was really sad to have to send this back. The waiter took it off the bill, but didn't even ask me if I wanted something else. This was a disappointing experience.
Delicious and healthy food. The salmon filet was tender. The salads had creative ingredients. The waitress smiled and was very pleasant. But the service was terrible. The food was served in reverse order. The main dishes first. Then they asked if we already had the soup. No. So they served it next. I ended up asking for our drinks 3 more times before they served them. We were almost done with the meal. Very inconsiderate.

The Oasis cafe is my favorite restaurant in Salt Lake City. I love the atmosphere, the waiters are wonderful and very friendly, the food is consistently amazing. I recommend it very highly.
