In spite of the fact that they were understaffed and it took a while to get served, plus they ran out of rice, but later brought some, the food was terrific. We tried several dishes, but I focused on the chicken katsu and that seemed to be the favorite of the table. Wonderful ambiance, but due to the acoustics inside they really need to keep the music level down.

Came in here for an early Mother's Day dinner. We made reservations for 5:45 and there weren't a ton of people there which was actually kind of nice. The place is absolutely beautiful and I love the open kitchen area where you can see them cooking all your food. You can tell they are truly into it and having fun making art out of food back there. We ordered the spicy chicken, the spicy cauliflower, the panko shrimp skewers, the flat iron steak skewers, the udon noodles, the spicy rice cakes, and the pork belly. Each dish came out super fast and they were all so flavorful and delicious. They were plated beautifully and it was a ton of food for just the three of us. Everything was hot, not over spiced or oily, and the portions were fabulous. The vibe in there is really cool. It's pretty minimalist very clean and the staff was super friendly. It's a beautiful place to dine. Very excited to take in-laws here when they're visiting and also come back with friends for dinner to try out everything that we didn't get to on the menu.

Really helpful serving staff, fantastic overall experience. Favorite dishes were the Muchim, Tuna Handroll, and Kushiyaki Mori skewers (in that order). Udon was very good as well. Will be back to try more of their menu!

Truly beautiful dining and something completely unexpected in salt lake. The entire block of businesses in the granary district is so impressive. But Nohm is really a stand out for fine and elegant dining. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting twice, and I loved every bite both times. Well plated, thoughtful, delicious food. Highly recommend the hand rolls, shrimp udon, and any skewer. I will say that on this most recent visit we felt awfully rushed. We had the table for 2 hours (totally fine and perfect amount of time to eat) and I ordered 6 dishes to share. They all came out very quickly so we were done in about 30 minutes. It felt slightly rushed, however to be fair we were dining pretty early so the kitchen may have just been on a roll. Regardless it was all delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in the valley without question.

I am so grateful I found Nohm! Everything we ordered was delicious. The servers are very kind and helpful in answering any questions we had. Keep in mind that yakitori can sometimes take more time to come out especially if they’re busy- but we did not mind one bit as all the yakitori skewers we tried were SO good and worth the wait! The Bossam was tender and the sashimi was very fresh. Honestly wish more people knew about this place. We can’t wait to come back!

Make yourself a reservation and enjoy the ambience. Absolutely delicious from the hand rolls to the scallion pancakes, sweet & sour cauliflower and shrimp udon noodles.

New cool and hip vibes in SLC! Delicious food and great service. Price is reasonable. I will definitely go back and recommend this place for sure.

Our first visit with extended family. Big Dave and Little Dave have created a unique food and atmosphere experience and we did not miss out! Everything was supurb including the wait staff and the charcoal ice cream was a great way to top it off. Thank you - we will be back on our next visit out west!

So stinking good. Reasonably priced and phenomenal food. Everything ambiance, service, options, esthetics, flavor profiles was so on point.Just tell google to take you here already. So glad I found another spot to add to my list of regular jams. Feel like I am back in San Francisco #quality #service #amazing

My experience has always been… great food with high quality ingredients, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. There are def some dishes that I’ve enjoyed a bit more than others, but David and staff are helpful in taking the time to explain the dishes and how they are prepared. Great job. SLC is lucky to have Nohm.
