Meatball sub and fried ravioli were the best things we ordered. Chicken Parmigiana was okay. My 12 year old loved the fries but didn’t like the grilled cheese. Fun vibe. Overall a good experience.
I love the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Always have. The only complaint I have is that the sandwiches I have got the last few times had about half the meat that they did ten years ago and cost $5-6 more. I opened my sandwich last night and held it vertical and it looked like a plain bun. Could not even see the meat. Nothing even fell out of it. Hardly any meat. They used to be packed with that awesome meat and onions. I guess that is what restaurants are doing anymore. Reduce the size of the food portions and raise the price.
Know what you want, yes even if you haven’t been there before. The workers are in a hurry and so are the people in line. Do yourself a favor and eat your meal on the cute patio. I ate half of my delicious meatball, feta, and jalapeño cream sauce sub at the nearby Capitol, and then saved the other half. Don’t make this same mistake. I only realized my error when I went for more. The bread had absorbed every ounce of liquid leaving the meatball dry and the bread falling apart. Because duh, of course it had! I have only myself to blame for such a tragedy. Great for eating there while fresh, so do that.
Heard of this on Triple D. We had the 6 in and 12 in meatball sandwich. Big meatballs, they were bready, eggy, perfect seasoning. love the homemade sauce they put on the sandwich. Little heat, and tangy. The curds were ooey gooey with not too much breading. The pickle fries are good, again not over breaded. Onion rings were crispy and hot.Definitely a must visit.
Everybody who's ever heard of Moochie's knows that their food is just amazing. I always get the same thing: a Philly cheesesteak with peppers and jalapeno hot sauce. If you want something healthier or gluten-free, their salads are amazing as well. My husband always gets them and I usually eat at least a few bites.
This was my first time we going to Moochie’s, and it will probably be my last, unless ordering the Philly cheesesteak was the wrong thing to order off the menu. Like another reviewer said, I also ended up with more bun than steak. And at over $15.00 for a 12”, $8.and change for a 6”, definitely not worth the price…
Good enough to get a steak fix. The whiz doesn’t add much to the flavorless meat, and the buns are crispy. It would feel more authentic with a soft bun. Everywhere in Philly will give you too much steak, but not here. in comparison to a real steak, it’s close to what you would get at pats cheesesteak.
Saw the Triple D episode which included Moochies. When visiting family in the area went for lunch. Had a cheesesteak and fries. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. The staff was super friendly.
I live out of state but if I'm in town it's my go-to place the people are friendly kind and very helpful and I'll keep going there every time I'm in Utah love that place oh and yeah the food is wicked delicious
Went here randomly cause friend was feeling a philly cheese. I personally ordered 6" atomic meatball and 6" Philly. The jalapeno sauce was recommended to me as well at no extra cost so I decided to give it a try. While sitting down I saw a poster for pickle chips and decided to order a regular. Person at register suggested jalapeno sauce again so I said yes. When I got the food everything tasted great including the pickle chips. The jalapeno sauce went well with everything as well. My friend enjoyed his Philly cheese too.We were very happy with the food and service and will come back more often.
