Coffee & Tea Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt

this place is phenomenal! we are new to being vegan so we had to try this place. I got the mojito sorbet w/ vanilla & my husband got the lemon bar w/ blueberry cobbler! they were so good! definitely worth $5!! we will be coming back!

Just really great ice cream. Vegan or not. Definitely my preferred stop in town. The flavors are really fun and they don’t skimp on portions. I had the PB&J and the banana brownie. There were massive chunks of brownies, peanuts, and jam. Actual deep flavor and complexity rather than a single chocolate chip and some faint banana essence. I really appreciate their attention to craft.

Anyone with lactose intolerance knows that having ice cream is pain vs. reward. But not anymore!!! Enter Monkeywrench. An anti-dairy establishment as read on the door. There is no dairy and a lot of gluten free options.Let's talk about flavors. They have so many to choose from but not the ordinary. Flavors like Lemon Bar, Blueberry Cobbler (that actually has cobbler in it!) Buddafinger, Mojito Sorbet, Lavender, and so many others (see the picture) I am visiting Utah this week but have visited Monkeywrench twice already. I am sold and have been telling others. Give it a try I bet you will be writing your own review soon, trust me.

I wish I could have had the option of a sample to know that I didn’t want to eat this ice cream. Both mint chip and blueberry crisp were truly inedible to me. Strange stevia sweet taste and awful texture. I’m pretty sure the positive reviews of Monkey Wrench are based on the absence of other vegan ice cream options (not counting normal here because they serve soft serve with limited monthly flavors). I will never return!

Mojito sorbet and lemon bar are my favorite. Great hole in the wall dairy free gluten free will come here again after a long days work working at precision auto glass installing windshield in the sunshine

Fun spot! The ice cream texture was less smooth than the typical dairy option (almost crumbly in the cup, but had a smooth mouthfeel). I think it might need a bit more fat? Despite this, you wouldn’t guess it was vegan. The tea & biscuits flavor was really fun! It had a strong tea flavor, and the biscuits kind of tasted like fruit loops (but I’m not mad about it). The mint was refreshing,Thank you for having a mini size option!!

This was a fun treat. The ice cream appears homemade and they rotate the flavors. The blueberry cobbler and mint chocolate ice cream were great. The strawberry had somewhat of an odd taste.

Okay….nah. There’s no way this place is this good and I was today years old when I tried it for the first time. I’m hyper allergic to milk and so it has been almost 10 years since I’ve been able to have my favorite childhood treat: strawberry milkshake.I ordered.[insert skeptical face]Tried it.AMAZING!!!!I got the banana brownie vegan ice cream as well. Incredible. So so so happy I found this place. BUUUUUT—when I went it was freezing and no seating in store. So be prepared for that.

These punks and their dairy free ice cream are a revelation. I am newly obsessed with this charming little shop. Their ice creams are exceptional - creamy, chunky, and rich. Great texture, creative flavors, and their waffle cones are fantastic. Highly recommend the lemon bar! (Photo is of their charcoal waffle cones in October- they were UNREAL.)

Really really good. I got a scoop of rocky road on a waffle cone. Also, great location to sit and/or walk around. So happy to have found this place. Will definitely be back!
