We made are reservation and we finally got a table half hour later. We ordered are appetizer and drinks my wife got her drink and we got are appetizer Iâm still waiting for my margarita we finished are appetizer I was still waiting for my drink. I finally got it just before are dinner. The meal was good nothing great.
Great food, great atmosphere, and great service! If you want delicious Mexican food and some awesome drinks, go to Monarca. You wonât be disappointed!
The dishes were presented beautifully, but the flavors were a little bland. No discernable salt on the chips or in the guac, but the ceviche was overly salty. Food came out quickly, but beans looked like they had been plated and under a heat lamp for an hour. Good service and conveniently located, but probably won't go back.
The food was incredible but sadly the service was quite lacking. We ordered two appetizers, one which was delivered at the same time as my friend's main course. The other appetizer was missed entirely. Our second cocktail had been sitting at the bar for so long that the ice had melted entirely and it was watered down, beginning to get warm. After being MIA for a bit, the server came by to ask if we needed anything else, ready to give us our bill. I said yes my main course please. I would go back because the food was wonderful, but hopefully once the staff has had a little more training.
The Birria tacos were amazing! We also had the Elote which had a sweet and smoky flavor to it. The cocktails were delicious.
My husband and I absolutely loved the tacos and the tableside pií±a coladaâs. I highly suggest this restaurant to everyone. Our server Michael was also amazing.
