Maybe they were having an off night but the lady that answered the phone for a take-out order not only got the order wrong, but left me a voicemail asking me to show up “on time.” Traffic? Parking!? I’ve been a regular customer since 2018, an the only reason for three stars is because the other staff is always nice. I regularly supported them during the pandemic but this kind of customer service will no longer make me a customer.
Millies is the kind of place that you just feel happy eating at. The burgers, fries and ice cream cones are sure to leave a smile on your face the Bacon burger is my personal favorite but even the go to Millies burger is great. The atmosphere is so simple, care free and full of people laughing and enjoying being there. In the heart of sugarhouse so a lot of people walk or ride bikes here.
My grandma would take me here as a kid. I took my wife and son's for a burger today for nostalgic reasons. I was expecting a good burger but not this good. By far and hands down the best burger I've had in a long time. If you're thinking about having a Crown or Apollo burger then think again and give Millies a try. My new yet old go to burger joint!
The food was what I had expected, really great, Mom and Pops great.That is not why I am leaving this review. The reason I am leaving this review is because of the way the manager/(owner?) Dan handled an unfortunate credit card situation. I was charged twice for my bill. I called the restaurant and an employee gave me Dan's mobile number. I called and left a voicemail. Dan called me back within 20 minutes. He explained the technological glitches that had happened and explained what he was doing to remedy the problem.He sincerely apologized for this inconvenience and expressed how important his customers are. He was phenomenal. This was the best customer service I have received in as long as I can remember. It was incredibly refreshing.The money has since been credited back to my account.I will continue to visit this establishment and recommend them based off of this experience.Thank you Dan.
Has a real mom and pop/old timey feel to it. The service was quick and friendly to all (not just me) that were there. The food was delicious and hot and the onion rings were crisp, fresh, and held their shape when you took a bite. (They were also not dripping with grease like some of the chain restaurants---you know who you are ?) Would highly recommend going there!
Was fun to take the family to a well kept old fashion hamburger and ice cream shop. Friendly staff, good food, reasonable price, and building in good shape.
So delicious, small mom and pop burger joint. Awesome quick service. Prices were great and they were quick to get the food to you. They have shakes and specialty fried zucchini and mushrooms. Yum!
This place reminds me of what I would think McDonald’s was like in the “olden days”. If you want fast food I’d rather have it here and support a local place rather than a chain.Price: The prices were cheap, but not the cheapest. It was about $5 for their special Millie burger (a burger with lettuce and pickles).Food:basic fast food style. Very thin Burger patties and cheap ingredients.Environment- a bit small, but there are a couple booths that you can sit at.Staff-very friendly and understanding. They do a good job!This place gets surprisingly crowded but they get your food done quick.

Was honestly a little disappointed. It's often these mom&pop shops that have real unique flavors and offerings. So when I ordered the Bacon Swiss Jalapeño Burger and found myself pulling apart the burger to make sure that it even had the cheese, I was left a little bummed. The bacon was minimal and the jalapeños had no heat at all. While I there was nothing wrong with the burger, it was just surprisingly bland and flavorless. That said, the fries were good and the service was great.
