Pizza was good and the staff was very sweet. Took a bit of time to get our drinks but I think that was more because of the laws in UT and there being only one person who could bring us our drinks. The restaurant is full of very fun quotes…see pictures…which made our very large party of 14 smile.
In a classic Utah service move, I was rejected at the door for them being close. It was 8:00pm. The door says 9pm. They say they made their last meal. I would suggest then, that this location in fact, closes at 8pm. Only in Utah has this happened to me. I’m not trying to come in at 8:55 order a glass of water and sit there until 11pm. You are open for one full more hour, act like it.
Fun environment! I tried their margarita pizza and their breakfast pizza. The margarita was disappointing with a dearth of marinara sauce and a paucity of mozzarella. However, the breakfast pizza (recommended by staff) was incredible! I would return for this alone, but I wouldn’t bother trying their other pizzas after the margarita disappointment.
Fun to try, but just didn't seem a good introduction to the Neapolitan style. Notably, the fresh mozzarella occasionally tasted distinctly un-fresh. We recommend the pesto pizza, and we would skip the margherita next time. We got our takeout just as a group of prom dates came in, and it does seem like a fun place for young people to be fancy together without necessarily breaking the bank.
Food are OK - I would’ve given a 4 stars - but I ordered to-go on a Sunday afternoon while the restaurant was very quiet (only 2 tables with people, but with 6+ employees), and they still took 32 mins to finish my two pizzas. They also messed up the to-go orders with the delivery orders so it was sitting on the counter for a bit. Didn’t apologize.
That was delicious! The food was very good! Fun and unique flavors. The pizza wasn't soggy like many wood fired pizzas can be. The dessert pizza was amazing! I really enjoyed the salad. It was fresh and had a great mix of flavors. The cheese and meat plate was really good too. I'd recommend that as a starter while you're waiting on the pizza. The atmosphere was nice (a little too dark for my liking) but looked nice. The process to make your order was a bit confusing, and the workers weren't terribly helpful at first. We walked in and just stood there for a few minutes at the glass at the front where it looks like you should order. We were finally told to go around the counter and order down the row instead. Once we ordered though the service and the experience were great!
Great quality food! I had a salad that was so fresh. Great menu!
Stopped by on our trip to Salt Lake City since we were looking for gluten free pizza. Overheard someone say this was the best gluten free pizza in Salt Lake City so we put it to the test. Overall it was good. The place sure is unique along with many types of pizzas. There’s something for everyone. Pizza was tasty. Wouldn’t say it’s the best we’ve ever had, but it surely is pretty good and unique, would come here again. They take safety precautions with allergies.
Ordered through Uber Eats, and this has to be the worst place I’ve ordered on there. I got a Pepperoni and Margherita pizzas, and was very disappointed. The presentation was horrible, there were only like 4 pepperonis on the whole pizza, and it tasted SO BITTER. I saw another review mention it as chemically and I agree, but it’s definitely something from the fire/cooking process. Hopefully they change something in their cooking process, so that it isn’t covered in whatever makes it so bitter. Overall the taste and lack of toppings are enough for me to not recommend ordering from here.
Great tasting food. I had never had the experience of a wood kennel cooked pizza and man was it good food. The prices are really decent as well as portion sizes. You can literally watch as your food is being prepared from order to prep to cooked and then delivered to your table. The employees there are really nice people and they make sure that you are happy with the service. I watched them making the food and man are they efficient and steadily working to get your food out to you. There was good music in the background and the college and pro bowl games visually playing on huge tvs. Its got calm and relaxing lighting which made the environment relaxing and enjoyable. It had the type of environment that i had only experienced at a bistro in Chicago. Its allot like you'd see in the movies about old school gangsters, back during al capone days. It was a really cool experience and the smells of the food and the ovens was equally satisfying. I plan on a return trip to this restaurant.
