Great atmosphere and fantastic food with good service. I had halibut and my daughter had ahi and both of us thought our meals were great
This used to be a favorite of ours but WOW they have declined. Very disappointing. First, the BEST shrimp cocktail used to be at Market Street but apparently not anymore. The shrimp were watery and the presentation was poor—several shrimp scattered on a salad plate with two sauces and some lettuce shreds. Very unattractive and not good shrimp! Second, service was adequate at best (but not unlike everywhere else right now...). Third, our meals were disappointing. My halibut was over cooked and dry. My husband’s swordfish was actually well-prepared, so the hit of the evening. Overall very disappointing. We won’t be back and are sad about that after all these years.
Honestly my favorite evening place. The bill was average for the menu. Feels like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed visiting.
ABSOLUTE TRASH EXCUSE OF A BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT... CHEFS ARE A ABSOLUTE JOKE ... FOOD TASTE LIKE DOG FOOD ... DRINKS ARE TERRIBLE ... so much potential just wasted.. owner is clearly unconcerned with his establishment
Halibut chips were wonderful. Server was great. She checked on us just the right amount. Drinks never got below half
Just found out Market Street Grill serves breakfast.Started off with a half dozen kamachi oysters.I had the blue crab omelet my wife had seafood omelet witch had crab, shrimp and halibut.
What a great brunch. Awesome service.
The food is not that bad with lots of high priced fish. Expect to pay $45 per person or more. Lots of extras. I found that the big problem was poor service. You will be lucky to ever see the waitress until the bill comes. The place is almost empty during the day and a little more busy at night. What a great time to train staff. It starts with the greeter never looking up from her desk when you walk in. I hate that.
2020 is such an unusual and difficult year, yet we were able to make reservations and enjoy a birthday meal that was spot on. Fresh and deliciously prepared oysters, salad, chowder, salmon and lobster tail. Excellent service, clean and safe, masks and lots of social distance. In the past many years we have been very disappointed with the service but this visit was exceptional! I did have to call to make the reservation because there was no way to make it online.
Nice place to think about business. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. The bill was appropriate for the quality. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I loved to visit.
