Loved the puns and edgy atmosphere of this place. The good is pretty good, kinda typical bar and cafe fare. Definitely would go regularly if I lived in SLC

Very yummy fried chicken wrap, and I liked the pickles in the beast fries! I forget the actual name of the dish

Mark of the beastro never misses!! From brunch to hearty fried comfort food, this is THE place for vegans. Everything I’ve tried here is amazing (the fried pickles are truly the best I’ve had in town - vegan or not). The staff is comprised of wonderful people who do a lot for the vegan and underground music communities. If you’re vegan or vegan-curious and in salt lake and you don’t try at least a few things off the menu here you’re a fool!!! I love the relaxed atmosphere and decor as well as all the live music that’s hosted here. Truly one of the all around greatest places in the city for good food and entertainment

Apologies for the bad photo, but after spending breakfast time with my family in a non vegan-friendly place I was really hungry and started eating the French toast right away. Besides the French toast, I also had pancakes with chocolate sauce and peanut butter and both were delicious and very well prepared. The service was great, and everything arrived very quickly. The restaurant has a dark/casual atmosphere and decor that I think is really cool. I wanted to try other dishes, but I was feeling full after the pancakes and French toast. I would definitely go back to this place next time I visit Salt Lake City. Really recommend to vegans and non-vegans!

The only reason why it does not have 5 stars is the service. I called the order in and the guy asked me three times if I could just order online. I told him that the system was down, because it would tell me that they were closed. I asked him if it was ok to order over the phone and he said "yeah I guess. It is just easier for us if you order online". When I picked up the food there was not a single customer there. However, focusing on the food. It was really good. The spicy chiken was not spicy at all, but I understand that not too many people can handle their spice. The mock chiken was really good and the fries were ok. My friend said that her sandwich was a little dry and that she should have gotten a side of ranch. As a place to eat Vegan food. If you can look pass the service and how dark the inside is, it is a good vegan option place to try out. I hope they fix the service, because everything else was good.

The best place for Vegan food in SLC. I've ordered about 6 or 7 of the items on the menu and I've never been disappointed. The Waffles, Fried Chicken are the best but the Club is fantastic too. It's also a cool spot. The staff is friendly and inclusive. This is a place I frequent at least once a month (and I live about a half hour away.)The only real "negative" that I can think of is I would like to see some new menu items. Would love to have a "Monte Cristo" style sandwich with the French Toast and Ham for example.Thanks.

If you know, you know. This place has the best vegan chicken you're going to find in the valley. All the other reviews kept mentioning the animal style fries, which are good, but their wings???? Best vegan wings hands down. 10/10 would eat everyday if I could! Also literally the only place to get an actually good vegan milkshake! Love it here. xxx

I would recommend for takeout. Food was fantastic, and this comes from a carnist. Service was not good. I don’t expect much, but filling up waters isn’t too much to ask. Atmosphere was chill, love the vibe. They are very strict about masks. All good, I’m down to wear one, but they don’t have any on hand. While I was there, several people came in without masks, asked if they had any, and were denied. Seems like a $5 box of blue masks might be a good investment. Just a suggestion.

Went here while on vacation in October, it's the perfect dive for amazing vegan food. The milkshake was fantastic as were the waffles. Cool place ran by cool people. Their taste in music is also topnotch

Shout out to Bistro for making me something completely weird just cause I asked for it. Made my birthday lunch perfect!
