This local restaurant in Salt Lake City surprisingly good. The menu had some really good options. You can choose between steak, seafood, burgers, chicken, salads, and soup. The entrees also come with ice cream. That was a nice treat. While it’s not the highest quality food, it was satisfactory. Located inside the Little America Hotel, it’s a good option for downtown SLC dining.
My wife was craving a buffet, After a quick search this place came up and we decided to give it a try. I wanted some thing with half decent food which is hard to find when you use the term buffet in your search results. We were very pleasantly Surprised at the quality of food here. Definitely not your every day chuck Arama. The food choices overall were smaller than your average Buffet but The quality was very good. Prime rib, well prepared roast, Seabass cooked perfectly and a few other great choices for protein. Plenty of salad choices and great options for starches. Everything was very good. And the dessert selection was quite impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I will say it was slightly more expensive than what we expected but not so much that I am reducing my rating. It was $45 per person
We ate at the Sunday night buffet here. The food was exceptionally tasty with one small issue. All the food was only luke warm. We had the prime rib, carved turkey, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, shrimp, and salad. We also had the creamy chicken noodle soup which, too, was very tasty but barely Luke warm. Dessert was a selection of small pastries and was excellent. About 8 different offerings. The $45 price was certainly reasonable.
The breakfast buffet is OMG!!! The food was great and so was the service. Great selection.
I've been here many times for the breakfast buffet. My recent visit I had their Prime Rib dinner Buffet. Food was excellent. The meat carver gives thick cuts of meat. Waitstaff very attentive.
Very nice Bar and Grill to chill at. The four of us are staying at the Little America Hotel and decided to dine in, very good decision. You will like the portions and appreciate the atmosphere of the Bar if you dine after 830pm. Highly recommend!
We decided to have Christmas dinner at Lucky H located inside the Little America Hotel. They offered a special Christmas buffet for $55.00 per adult. They didn’t take reservations, so we arrived early when they opened at 3:30pm. Surprisingly, we were seated right away. The selection was ok, but the food wasn’t hot, it was lukewarm. The dishes offered included two types of macaroni and cheese, one plain the other with bits of crab in it, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pork with gravy, teriyaki chicken, turkey, cioppino, beef pepper steak, yams, Orange roughy, a few salads, a selection of small desserts, and prime rib. The best dish was the orange roughy. The prime rib was cooked well done. We waited and watched 2-3 prime rib come out, hoping for medium rare or at least medium. Every one was cooked well. It was tender, but lacked any flavor. It was a huge disappointment. Dinner cost $145.00 for two of us including tip. Service was very good. I don’t think we’d choose Lucky H for it’s Christmas buffet again. We’re going to try their breakfast buffet next month. Hopefully, it’ll be better.
Stopped by for something to eat while staying at the Grand America didn’t know what to expect, surprised by a nice buffet and helpful staff. Not much to say, it was buffet food and it wasn’t bad. If buffet are your thing it’s worth checking out
Starting with a very attentive staff. Very nice and comfort sitting/tables. The display of food, EXCELLENT. For those like me, gluten intolerant, they do have gluten free bread, just ask for it.
Great food and service. They always do a great job
