Don't let first impressions fool you, it is slightly out of the way, and very unassuming when you look at it from the exterior - and to be honest, the interior could do with a touch of sprucing up - but the food is excellent and tasty, with very large portions. Is it a family run and owned business with very friendly staff, shout out to Brandon for the excellent conversation we had with him, and for the tips on what to do in the area!
Got the flat noodles with beef. The taste was about average. The noodles were good and there was a TON of beef! I was very pleased with the amount.Unfortunately, there were almost no vegetables, and it's good to have a balance between noodles, veggies, and beef. Also, not enough sauce for my taste. Will definitely be asking for extra sauce and veggies next time.
We were told 10-15 minutes for a pickup order. Waited at least 30-40. Lots of food but pretty low quality. Shrimp pan fried noodles = flavorless shrimp + veggies in soupy sauce and dry noodles + rice on the side? Shrimp egg foo young did not seem to have egg in it. Pancakes were buried under the same soupy sauce/mixture that came with the other meal. Won’t be back.
We ordered a simple plate of roast duck/char siu. Car siu was very dry and tasted old. Hard to chew and swallow. We ordered under the egg fu yung the shrimp fu yong. No trace of eggs but a mushy slop of noodle and rice. See photo. That was on the bottom of shrimp/veggies with sauce. The mush was burnt too and not edible. We threw $29 down the drain. Please serve decent food. If we lived nearby we would have brought your food back for you to see and smell. Rating zero stars!
Used to LOVE this place, and the last 3 times, our take out orders were not good. Last night the pot stickers were VERY THICK and dry. The filling was as good as it used to be, but the sauce was almost sweet instead of vinegar-y. The shrimp lo mein noodles were way overcooked, and not much sauce. It''s a real shame the quality has sunk at our favorite Chinese place.
Since our other favorite establishments are now gone, finding another favorite was challenging. However this place is my go to for take out Chinese. The size portions are perfect for my family and it's goot that authentic taste missing at most other spots.
The Chinese food is amazing. Some of the best I’ve ever had. I thought the east coast had the best Chinese food, but this place takes the cake. Truly a hidden gem. The first time I went here I had sweet and sour pork and it was so good. Then I forgot where this place was and google maps wouldn’t show it for some reason when I searched Chinese Food, but they show all the other places. I got lucky I found it again, it was hidden in google maps as a little dot that you had to click to see. Anyways, this time I had the egg noodle roast pork lo mein. Beats all the other lo mein I’ve had had on the east coast. Good job.
Fast, delicious, classic flavor, & big portions! We got pon pon chicken (with broccoli), chicken lo mein (egg noodles), and fried pork dumplings! Wow the dumplings & lo mein hit the spot. The breaded chicken was a little mushy, but the sauce was great & it's better than dry chicken. The drive-through was convenient and the food only took 20 minutes on a busy night at 6:30.
Honestly all the food came up short on flavor. I love a simple chicken lo mein as simple as it is this place left a lot to be desired. As did the shrimp mixed veggie & the Mongolian beef. I didn't bother to try the orange chicken or sweet and sour pork. It looked way too greasy
Amazing food, cheap price and nice stuff. It was a nice experience and a big portion.
