One of the best places to have breakfast in town. Food is super fresh, tea is actually brewed. The staff is super friendly and nice. Highly recommend.

We ate breakfast here today and it was delicious. We ordered the lemon pancakes (2) and the Lazy Deluxe. Two of us shared both of those and it was plenty of food. The service was great! The girls were working so hard on a busy holiday and they were so pleasant and kind to us. My only complaint was that the hot chocolate needed a little more flavor but we will be back with friends and family!

A perfect place for Sunday brunch. The service and food was amazing. They have some really great vegan options too!

Two disappointments from my breakfast: the lemon pancakes were okay but nothing special. Totally missing the fresh pop of lemon and the coffee was fair at best. The eggs and hash browns were decent, the hash browns were heavy on pepper which can be great for pepper lovers but overall, it was an average meal. The service was great and visiting with a friend was delightful but sadly, the food isn’t calling me back.

One of my favorite breakfasts in the city. Really tiny and unassuming but just so delicious. The pancake is a must. Whatever you order, order one on the side and thank me later. The vibe is pretty low key and service isn’t awesome or anything. But the kitchen is the important part and they make my day every time I visit.

wait staff is awesome and the owner is amazing. and the food?... holy crap delicious. I live in Logan and anytime I'm in Salt Lake I try and eat at lazy day.

Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had! The lemon pancakes are so unique and what everyone comes here for but I thought that the biscuits and gravy were so yummy! If you come here make sure that you get enough food because if you just get the pancakes you probably will leave hungry. Service was great and we all enjoyed our visit!

I went to the lazy Day Cafe after Googling Eggs Benedict, and it came up and was nearby. It has a great, relaxed, atmosphere. The waitresses were very nice. I ordered eggs Benedict, but they were out of Canadian bacon, but they had a version with salmon. It was excellent! The Hollandaise sauce was perfect. There were capers and onions in the Hollandaise sauce (I imagine because it was salmon, but I didn't ask), but it perfectly complimented the salmon. It came with hash brown potatoes which were peppery, almost luxuriously peppery. The coffee was superb.I also ordered a side of sausages and an extra English muffin. The first word that came to mind when I sliced into the sausage was "succulent", followed by "juicy". I don't think I've ever experienced that. Usually sausages are a little dry. And the flavor was really, really good.I mentioned my visit to a sister, and she remembers eating there some years ago and really loving it. She's now out of state, but when she comes down to Salt Lake we're going to go to the Lazy Day Cafe for brunch.
