I was very excited to try this place out, and I ended up being very disappointed. Nothing is fresh/daily made, so that explains lots of things. Let's start with baklava: their baklava is not the traditional Turkish baklava, you can just tell it be the look of it. The sucuk-kasar borek was fine, but was soaking in oil/grease. The simit was the biggest disappointment: it felt like it was at least a week old, it tasted like a week old break, not simit. The tea was fine, nothing special. I didn't ask what kind of coffee they use, but the Turkish coffee did not feel as strong as a traditional Turkish coffee. It was also pretty expensive considering what you get.I also found it rude that they had a sign saying "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone". I mean we get that you have that right, but you don't need to advertise it.
The manti (both vegetarian and meat-based) were absolutely delicious and incredible. I have also had their authentic coffee, & baklava. Yum! I will be back again and again.
This was the coolest coffee shop I've ever been to!!!The staff were so nice and explained everything and we're extremely knowledgeable and kind!!! The food and drinks were fantastic!!! And the price was amazing!!!I recommend the Carmel Moon Milk with the parsley and feta meal. It was divine!!!Parking can be tricky but behind both the cafe and the building next to it is allowed so I recommend parking there.
This place is such a unique gem! First time trying Turkish coffee, and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend!
So delicious! I’ve never had food like this in the states before. Lots of wonderful gluten free options too! The location is also amazing, it’s a beautiful vintage style tea room decorated with amazing antiques and comfortable furniture. Cant recommend this place enough!
New favorite! Authentic turkish coffee hand brewed right in front of you, an assortment of cookies, cakes and other traditional turkish treats that are delightful to the taste and eye, beautiful Victorian style location and very kind and skilled staff?
The best Turkish coffee! I will definitely be back. Thank you ?
We had a great time at Kahve Cafe, it delivered an authentic cultural experience with great flavors all within a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Authentic place with good coffee. Only things is baklava is kind a different compare to Greece or Turkey.
