The eastside patio with awnings is a nice experience. The summer rolls were impressive. The fried calamari was just OK. I had chicken pho; the broth was bland, the chicken was bland. It was served with lime wedge, sprig of basil, and slices of fresh jalapeño. No other condiments provided, no salt/pepper on the tables. This was not an unpleasant experience; rather, underwhelming.

Small and welcoming, this place is most worthy of your business. Our lunch was superb, the service good. The chicken pad thai, round-eye pho and chicken curry were all excellent, with large portions. Stop on by!

Used to love going here for lunch during the week. But the last couple times have been terrible. First and foremost, there’s an awful smell in the restaurant that they are trying to cover up with an even more awful air freshener. Second, the service has become slow and downright forgetful. During this most resent visit, we had to ask for our drinks three times. And then when the food came out only the apps and my plate arrived, leaving my coworker to look on as I ate. The waitress never came back to check on us so by the time I could flag her down my coworker had to ask for his food to go. abs it still took a while for it to come out. Additionally, on the last several occasions, my soup has been refrigerator cold. When I complained, the waitress took the soup away and you could hear the slam of a microwave in the back as I’m sure that’s how I got a “fresh” back.

Loved this Vietnamese restaurant very much! I am from out of state and this is the first actual Vietnamese place that has great food! Would recommend again!

I love Vietnamese. Since I was a child I have searched for a delicious and authentic Bun salad. I’ve had dozens of different ones but by far Indochine serves the freshest, best tasting and most carefully prepared one. It is a bit of a drive and parking is tricky but it is always worth the hassle. Seems understaffed and my water was empty most of my meal, but I will go back. I will forever be going back.

I was disappointed by my visit to indochine today. We ordered online and were told that they forgot to put in the order when we arrived for pickup (well after the order should have been completed), so we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. We ordered two bun bo hue and a banh mi, both of which were subpar - the bahn mi was lacking flavor with very little condiments. We ended up adding our own pâté. The bun bo hue was not what I expected at all with very clear broth, not enough spice - bun bo hue is typically stronger with a nice layer of chili oil at the top but this broth was very clear and watery, even more so than pho usually is. The meat was chewy and there wasn’t any chili flake provided either. We specifically ordered bun bo hue because we wanted spicy soup. I kept coming here because it was close to me, and the facility is nice, but the already unremarkable quality is declining. For the price which is on the high end of vietnamese food in SLC I feel that there are many better options that are a lot closer to actual authentic vietnamese food (saigon sandwich, pho tay ho, little saigon, pho 28). All you are paying for here is the location.

Food is quick; the vegetable soup was great on an icy winter's day. Unfortunately, the soup almost had no flavor, especially the added prawns, (unfortunately, it tasted like the ocean).Ambience is great, if you're looking to do some quick work or get away from the chaos of your daily chores. Friendly & helpful service.

Can’t not tell you all enough how much we love this place. The service is always so nice, the servers knowledgeable and kind. We love all the fried rice options, the lemon chicken, the veggie noodles, and any of the appetizers. The food is great in the restaurant and as take out. Love this neighborhood gem. :)

Everything's always delicious. Always friendly staff. Love the convenient location to the U!

Just recently moved to Utah for school. I don’t know many restaurants around here, but this place is a 10/10. Great prices, and the food is amazing. I recommend the Beef Brisket Pho or the Chicken Curry Plate. Great service too
