This is one of those sushi places that exist in every town city that is constantly open and constantly full of people. It also has a constant 50% off. The sushi quality there is decent, I would even say it's good and for the price it's rather good. The variety is decent as well. The service is very fast from the time you order to the time you get sushi take some time less than 5 minutes.

A new sushi house offering 50% off in all their sushi. We have a big group but were seated in a reasonable time. Food is good, not the best but definitely good. All our food orders were served in a reasonable time except for one member in our group where her food order was way delayed even after few follow-ups and the restaurant is only like 70% full. We were all done eating and hers wasn't served yet to the point where we placed additional orders just so she won't be eating by herself. It's kind of odd but overall ok. Place is spacious and sufficient parking too.

The staff was great and timely, but the food was sub par. I ordered the sashimi and I am 99% sure it was frozen like right before they gave it to me. The sushi rolls weren't unpalatable but the sizing, the textures, and the taste was hit or (mostly) miss. I'm sure there's good rolls, but I didn't really have any. The Crab Rangoons were my favorite part of the meal. All in all, I wouldn't eat here again but it's at least mid.

Good food great prices. The tiny spicey chicken on the combo meal is my favorite. If you are into sushi I've herd the hidden dragon roll is super good.

I’ve been to many sushi places around the US. The sushi here is good. Been to plenty of bad sushi places. The sushi here is rolled nice and tight at a perfect size, not too big, not too small. Rice is fluffy and warm. I have no complaints. It’s not the best sushi in the world, but it is really good sushi and probably the best in Utah for the price, the prices are really cheap. The regular California rolls or shrimp tempura rolls, etc, are only $4. You can’t beat that price, and not only that, but you are getting high quality very good tasting sushi. You can pay more at a grocery store for premade mediocre sushi that’s been sitting around all day. The specialty sushi is even better. You are paying about double for the specialty compared to the regular rolls, but it is well worth it. My go to sushi place for not only cheap, but great tasting sushi that no other place I’ve been to in Utah, compares to in the same price range. Oh yeah, it also gets very crowded on the weekends, which means the wait time to get your food can be a while and waiting for a table too might be an issue, so prepare for that. It’s nice to order online and then pick it up at your convenience to avoid long waiting times.

This is a wonderful sushi restaurant, in Salt Lake City. This was our first time visiting this restaurant, we went with adult children who visit fairly frequently. The sushi here, is absolutely delicious, and well presented also. They seem to have the best value, for sushi, in the Salt Lake City area. We also had soups as well that were delicious also. They advertise half off sushi, and they mean it. Don’t let the menu price scare you, since they will be half-price.

Ichiban is always a hit! Food comes out fast taste good and pretty cheap price... for 2 of us we usually spend $30 for 5 rolls and we get full and have some to take home

This has been my friends' favorite sushi place in Utah for the past two years! I used to work super close to the restaurant, so I used to walk five minutes during my lunch break to pick up sushi. The prices are affordable and the quality is pretty good!I had my best experience with Ichiban Sushi just a couple days ago. My friend and I arrived around 9, which was thirty minutes before they closed. We were really craving sushi and hoping they weren't crowded so we could be quick, but they were pretty crowded :(They still seated us and Gizmo was our server. Gizmo perfectly balanced tending to us with a great personality and customer service, while we could see them performing closing duties in the background. My friend and I loved being served by Gizmo. We left a $20 tip, and when we walked out we realized that was like 50% of the check, whoops. But Ichiban is really worth it! And if you're craving sushi, this is the best place to go!

I like ichiban sushi for many reasons, flavor, price and service. I used to order some different rolls a spicy shrimp rolls, those are soo good. They have fifty percent off the sushi. Servers are fast. Overall the restaurant is a good choice and affordable.

I hate having to only give 3 stars But after a lot of thought it's the only one that makes sense. The food is good, sushi is great, and the price is unbeatable. However, in the last 6 months the service has been horrible. We're always asking for a drink refill or having to hunt a server down for one thing or another and there's been several times where we got food and no dinnerware. And there's been other times where I've had to go up and request my check because we've been waiting for 20 minutes.. If you don't mind the lousy service and long wait times then definitely go here because the food for the price is great.
