Hotel was very clean and customer service was great. Hotel was close to plenty of restaurants and activities for kids, which was a plus for us since we were traveling with little ones. Great location, close to Park City about 20-30min drive.
The staff was outstanding. Kind helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and overall the hotel was very clean. Some areas could use minor updates such as torn wallpaper but overall nice place to stay. (I am picky and search for dirt so this was a nice surprise)
Our family really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. We were a bit skeptical at first because it is not right in the center of downtown, but the location is quite convenience. It is walkway to transit, local amenities and SLC airport. The breakfast is great, but it would be great to have small changes day to day, especially for people who are staying 3+ days.
Visited our daughter in school and the location as well as the hotel itself met all our needs. The gateway offers a lot of convenient spots to eat and hang out and the hotel room was spacious without overdoing it. didnt try much of the amenities.
Hyatt is always a solid hotel choice. Good central location. Everybody working there was friendly and helpful. The hotel was packed with players from a rugby tournament so that was a fun atmosphere.Took off one star for no coffee at breakfast and the bananas were very green. When exactly would these be ready to eat?Took off the other star for the ellipticals not working, the ice machine on floor 5 being broken, and the ice machine on floor 3 being out of ice
Photos are from the surrounding amenities. The hotel is not modern. The location is very close to the LRT station, take you direct to/from the airport. Breakfast is buffet style and there is good varieties for everyone. The double beds room is spacious, and even have a sofa in the room.
Not enough staff to manage the property. The lone person on the property was overwhelmed on a Saturday afternoon. No towels and broken lounges at pool. No vending on the floor. Ice machines were either missing or out of service on three of the 6 floors. Needs some TLC on public spaces furniture.
This was a clean hotel with friendly staff. We were here to enjoy the downtown attractions but in 100-degree weather it is a very long walk to Temple Square and nearby shopping and dining. We drove everywhere and paid for parking.
The hotel is in a great location. The Gateway area has many restaurants, shops, and other amenities. Plus you are away from all traffic and very close to airport since you are at the west end of downtown. Took 10 minutes to get to airport. But hotel is a few blocks from Gateway, and walking distance to various museums. Parking was very convenient and inexpensive. Hotel is in very good condition; Rooms were clean and well appointed.
I am highly allergic to feathers and was told told we are all out of feather free pillows they run put quick" Beyond disappointing! I am shocked that a Hyatt would not be able to accommodate such a basic request.
