If you are looking for a place that has people skills.. this is definitely not one of them. Rude staff. They're not open for customers but you cannot park in their parking lot even though it's completely empty. I will never eat there because of that very reason. As a business owner I would never treat potential customers in that manner. Very very rude.
Very professional and very good food!! In my opinion, best Chinese food in the Salt Lake Valley.
I called in to place an order. The woman who took my order was so rude. Also I called her to give me an order of chicken fee an she then told me “how many would you like?” So I was like”how many are in the order” she responded with “I don’t know that, how many order you want” she said she couldn’t explain it to me! The service an food has gone down so much! This use to be one of my fave places to dine in an I have staid away for some time now due to the TERRIBLE SERVICE! Today after 4 years I decided to give them a shot again, an I get miss treated! This is ? the last time I an my family will ever eat here. So disappointed!
I have been going to ho ho a gourmet for almost 30 years. Love their stuff. Beef with snow peas, lo mein, dim sum, sweet and sour shrimp... It's all good.
Very disrespectful staff. They hung up on me 3 times after me asking about my order. She would said hold on and then hang up ever time. So disrespectful, never again.
Love their salt baked squid and shrimp. Helpful when ordering and brought out to the car for take out.To stop whenever we're in town.
Their Dim Sum is the best I have had in the Salt Lake Valley and is well priced! And if you order off their lunch/dinner menu, the portion sizes are large and tasty. The staff has always been friendly + engaging with my family and tentative.Depending on the time of day, parking can be a little crazy in front of the restaurant so we have had to park on the next street behind the restaurant (just west) a few times. But it is totally worth the walk!

Best Chinese in Salt Lake City. Take-out only right now. They've been around since the early '80's. That should say enough right there!
