An artsy cafe with a patio, Higher Ground did not disappoint. I got the honey lavender latte at the suggestion of the barista, and it had a nice earthy, sweet flavor. It wasn’t too expensive either, compared to other coffee shops around. The parking situation is not the best, however. Otherwise, great spot.
Their coconut dirty chai is the best chai I've ever had! We love their patio. Not much room inside but it's very cozy and fun. And their sandwiches are super tasty, seem to be really high quality ingredients. Lots of flavor in a very transportable package. I like that the sandwiches aren't huge!
I had a espresso shot. It was a really good bold flavor. That’s how you know if a coffee shop uses decent coffee beans. The price was great too.

One one barista and she rocked! Great service, well made drinks, super friendly. An excellent local hangout, even saw a guitar in the corner waiting for someone to give it life.

Affordable, good coffee and chai tea. Alpenglow sandwich wasn't as good as we expected, but still hit the spot. Would go back.
