This place is a must visit in SLC.I go frequently. I LOVE the food. Excellent staff. Great atmosphere (Im typically in their outdoor area) which they offer a dog friendly outdoor area which I absolutely love.Handle Bar is usually a splurge for me because it isn't cheap BUT well worth the money. I am a frequent customer that will continue coming back.My one complaint is they recently changed their policy to only serve their vegan tiger wings after 2pm on Sundays. I typically go for a bunch event so I am a bit bummed about that but I still love this place. I do think management should reconsider not offering tigers until 2pm though. Its one of the best options on the menu in my opinion. Perhaps add vegan tigers to the "brunch menu"?I still give 5 stars because this place regardless on my one complaint is well worth the rating.
Good food a lot of great vegan options.
Can't really give a proper review because we didn't eat here. We were traveling with our 2 older teens and a small dog and were looking for a pet friendly place to eat but we were turned away at the door because you have to be over 21 to sit on their patio. Just sharing this info for others so they don't waste their time. This place is not "kid" friendly :( And FYI, our kids have eaten at several Bar & Grill joints just like this one with no issue. This was the first time ever being turned away and they were rather rude about it too so for that reason, I am only giving 3 stars because I can only rate our experience.
Our first visit. Hoot was amazing, friendly and made us some lovely cocktails. The cauliflower starter was awesome and we both had a wraps that were delicious. Great people and great atmosphere. Our new go to place I think.
Great atmosphere and a live band. Love it here.
A very cool hipster brand, but it doesn’t match the actual vibe at all. I was hoping for a cool gastropub. Instead I got a regular, boring pub with only semi decent food. Disappointing.
Good food, friendly service along with a great selection of draft beers. ?
First time stopping in and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and attentive, lots of open space, dog friendly and live music on Friday night. The drinks were solid, great recommendations from the bartenders, but the food was just ok for us.We tried wings, nachos, and the Mac and cheese wrap. We’d say it was good, but not why we’d go back. Maybe try some other items to see if we can find something we love. However, we definitely will be back. The atmosphere was easily 5 star.
Loved it there! Good outdoor options with fire tables. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. We'll certainly go again. Also, dogs can be in the outdoor area. That's always a plus for us.
This place has a dog friendly covered patio in the back, delicious beers on tap and local cans, and is very vegetarian friendly! My partner and I decided to stop here during our road trip to get some work done remotely and it was a perfect spot for that!
