What a place! Hidden gem for sure as we were traveling through SLC. Got the Big John, and they aren’t kidding when they say big. As I was told by the very friendly deli workers, it weighs in at 3 lbs! Very reasonable pricing and nice atmosphere. You’d have to eat outside if you want to eat there.
Holy moly this place was a great find. I was looking for some food after my route at FedEx today and stumbled upon this hidden gem. I love everything about this place. Great vibe and great food all around. I got a 1/2 sandwich and it was colossal...and for a great price. They also have the mother load of hot sauce here. Service was awesome as well. Will be going back at least once a week while working on the road
These sandwiches are huge!! And so delicious. Get one to split with a friend and you still have some as leftovers. Everyone is so friendly and the store has some of the most unique items. I love shopping here.
Best place for local sandwiches. They are so fresh and delicious. One sandwich is enough for two people, they're pretty big. Lines can get long and take a while tho. This is the "Big John Combo"
I don't think I've had a better sandwich anywhere in SLC. Had the pastrami with Swiss on rye, with sauerkraut and Dijon. Fast and friendly service, great outdoor seating. Definitely eating here again.

I love this place. I've been coming here for over 20 years. My ex-wife turned me on to this place, and it was one of the few things, other than our kids, for which I appreciate her ? .The sandwiches are served on large ambassador rolls, the bread is always soft and flaky, the portions are huge, and the selection of items in their market is wider than you'll find at most grocery stores.They carry a lot of niche items, fun local treats, and delicacies. Check this place out if you're ever down near 21st and Main. They are awesome and I hope they stay in business forever.
Grove Market Deli in my opinion makes the best sandwiches in the western United State’s.Growing up by Grove Market was a good store to go as a child.Then the Grove Sandwich took off and made a neighborhood Market famous in Utah.I thank you for many decades of great service and wish your family many more.Thank you
One of the Best place for Sandwiches they are the King of the Sandwich’s no one can beat it. I am going there for more then fifteen years always get a Tuna Sandwich the employees are so good and take your order at the end you will see Jim he is the best owner. As long as I am in salt lake I will go there and also take my Friends too.
My brother Rudy’s favorite sandwich spot. Now I understand why he loved this place so much! Friendly, great customer service and sandwiches we purchased were delicious. I’d recommend this place to anyone
