Stopped in to try a couple of things and ask about ordering a birthday cake. Left feeling weirdly unwelcome and once we tried the goods, mostly underwhelmed.All pastries were tossed into one brown bag on top of one another and I was never asked how many things I would be getting first - which I thought was kind of weird but whatever. Person helping me just seemed really exhausted and like they did not want to be there, which I can respect. LolThe maple glaze did not taste like maple. Glazed donut was meh. We didn't finish a single donut even though I purchased 3.The little cinnamon bun thing was pretty good and we did enjoy these. Apple fritter was really dry and did not get eaten after one bite.Honestly, disappointed to say that Harmon's has better donuts and pastries.Maybe this place has amazing cakes but I'll never know.
We paid for a cheesecake in advance for our wedding cake. When we went to pick it up, there was a very clear burnt area on top of the cake, and the crust was mangled on the sides. When asked if there was anything that could be done, they said they couldn't help me, and my wife had to make due with this shoddy workmanship of a cake on our special day. I would not recommend going to this place.
We love this bakery so much! We go there for their amazing, fresh orange rolls, fantastic cookies, but they shine with their cakes! We have gotten two birthday cakes from Granite and they were both PERFECT! The last one was a Pinterest picture I gave them and it was even better than the original picture! ❤️ The cake is moist and the buttercream is divine!
I stopped in today to grab a birthday cake for my 23 year old son. I was told they had ice cream cakes in the refrigerator. No one jumped to help me so I open the refrigerator and took it out. I asked if a name could be out on it sure enough she quickly wrote happy birthday. The handwriting was poor. It would have been nice if they offered candles to me or asked me if I needed some. I paid with a credit card , the cashier quickly pointed out the tip area when I was about to sign. Right next to the register was also a tip jar. I was irritated after paying 40.00 for what I thought was an ice cream cake now this lady is pressuring me for a tip? I already put $2 in the freaking jar. We went and after our I served the cake that evening, three of the people at the party were children they wouldn't even eat it! This was not an ice cream cake ,it had the thinnest layer of ice cream in the middle of a cake clearly these people are underpaid if they have to push on the tips a quarter of an inch of ice cream in the middle. It was sooo dry too the cake was awesome as was the heavy lard tasting frosting. I also bought cookies six of them for $8, chocolate chip. Boy I wish I bought girl scout cookies instead Are you kidding me this place is so overpriced and so pushy and the quality is poor I don't know why people frequent this place that's why I went in I was curious but I will never ever buy from there again waste of money, overpriced and nothing special
Granite Bakery was very helpful in choosing our cake design. They let us taste and gave us some great ideas. The almond poppy seed with raspberry filling was amazing! They were so friendly to us and the owner even came in to help us! He showed us a cake similar to the one we wanted (they had one there waiting to be delivered that day) which helped us to know that this was the one!We truly appreciate that you were so nice and helpful to us. We definitely recommend Granite Bakery and will be buying cakes and treats here more often!!
Love this place! Amazing customer services! We went here for a wedding cake we walked in they had us look over a sheet of paper with different cake flavors & and different fillings and icing, they had us pick out whatever combination we wanted and they went and made us these cute little cakes to taste the combinations we picked. The cakes were delicious we ended up ordering the wedding cake and so excited. The cost was comparable to other places. We enjoyed the taste testing and people who helped us were great!
This is a Bakery that we always go to for birthday cakes. The cakes are delicious and prepared on time without any issues.
The perfect cake! I was going to buy a grocery store cake because it's cheaper and I originally thought "how much better could a cake be?" But I saw the great reviews and it's a family business so I decided I'd rather my money go there than a big company and let me tell ya it was the right choice! They were so friendly taking my order and making sure they had the order correct. It is exactly what I asked for and the taste was amazing!
Such a phenomenal experience! If ten stars were a thing, they’d get it!! Got my wedding cake done today and it was sooo gorgeous!! Along with amazing cupcakes and cookies!! The presentation was so much better than I hoped for and the process from consultation to delivery was so smooth! Thank you for the amazing addition to our special day!!
I paid $117 for 60 cookies that look like they were made by toddlers. These were for my Dad’s retirement party. And nobody from this business will get back to me about making this right. Take your business somewhere else!!!
