I was craving a bowl of ramen or some kind of noodle soup and was excited to check this place out. It's located in HallPass at Gateway. Full disclosure, I live in a place where Asian/asian fusion spots are on point and ?. This place is....okay. I ordered the BBQ Pork Noodle Soup. The grilled pork that topped it was excellent, but the rest of the dish left a lot to be desired. Noodles were a little over cooked, toppings were kind of lackluster and the broth was pretty bland. I'd stick to the bao or the other items.
Delicious and fun Asian fusion. This restaurant is located in HallPass, which is basically a food court for adults. This place sells multiple types of bao buns along with rice bowls and a few types of sides. We tried the Philly cheesesteak bao, chili oil fries, and a teriyaki rice bowl. All were delicious, especially the fries. The teriyaki bowl was loaded with toppings.Ordering is done via a kiosk. The wait wasn’t too bad even though HallPass was packed. The prices were a bit high but should be expected in this sort of setting. Employees were very busy and didn’t really interact with the patrons at all.
Great food! We are Asian and I have to say that the food was a very unique twist on regular Asian food :) The chili-oil fries were awesome!
The worst teriyaki bowl I have had, the teriyaki sauce tasted like it was expired. The steak without sauce on it was okay hence the two stars instead of just one
Favorite place in HallPass. The pork noodle soup is delicious. Love the roasted corn and crazy tender pork.
The food is excellent and people who work there are attentive and kind. 4 stars because there was a bit of a mixup with my order. The BBQ pork noodle soup I ordered came out barely warm (the broth) and when I asked to warm it up they said they couldn't take it back but would make a new one for me. After 20 min wait I went to check in and was told they thought I didn't want soup so they weren't making one...My hot soup finally showed up 5 min after (and was absolutely delicious). So all in all a 35-40 min wait.
The food was good but there was a glitch and it took 30 minutes before they made my bao buns and potstickers.
