Pizza in Utah. Since moving here from the East Coast in 2014, we have searched high and low for anything resembling a truly authentic NY style pizza. Yes, we even tried that newish place in South Jordan to the tune of, meh.In talking with my son on the way home from SLC about our favorite pizza place back where we're from, which is a singular hole in the wall...really, what I feel a pizza place is meant to be, we decided, what the hey, let's try one in SL we haven't tried before. Google maps along with some seemingly too good to be true reviews likening it to the real deal led us to Free Wheeler Pizza.Anticipating another disappointment, I was suddenly optimistic when the box entered the car. It smelled, well, RIGHT. And, I can truly say, it is not only the closest we've had since arriving in Utah, but it is also 2nd only to my beloved hometown pizza joint. The crust was out of this world perfection, and had the tell tale NY bubbles. The cheese to sauce ratio was outstanding. This was a WIN.

Order a cheese pizza for delivery. Could have saved about 45 minutes and $15 got a frozen pizza and been just as good
