I would give more stars since the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. But, today for the 2nd or 3rd time I was refused service due to the fact that it was 10 minutes to 2pm. Most places serve you if you order before the closing time, especially for a regular. I’ve been coming here three or four times a week. So we shall see if I keep wasting time driving clear over here to get denied service and missing out on my lunch.
Why a 3*? Well, the place was okay... But not as nice as I was hoping.The prices are pretty good, and at least one of the cashiers was nice... But that's about all the nice stuff that I can say.While I was there, it took about 7-8 minutes before I received my order, and I was the only one ordering.During this time, the phone rang twice, and both times I was surprised how rude the employee was. (They told her customer on the phone, "we're about to close, and we don't have time for you")The sushi I had was really dry, and I don't see the point in visiting again
We love the Original Five Sushi Brothers. However the new location in the Orem Walmart leaves much to be desired. The sushi was more akin to a rice casserole than a sushi roll. The flavor was wanting as well and I can’t imagine I would ever go here again.
Ordered online to pickup during my lunch break. Unfortunately neither people working that day had any clue what they were doing. I watched three other unsatisfied customers try and leave without sushi. So after waiting in line for 10 minutes it was my turn. I told them I had a pickup order and it was news to them! The lady didn't know how to take orders or to view online orders so she had to get the guy from the kitchen to come show her but he seems almost as confused. I had to get back to work so I didn't have time for them to figure out what they were doing and start making my order, so I asked for a refund. They called someone to figure out how to do that but I guess they were unsuccessful at that too since I never got a refund. I was so bummed, but guess I'll just stick to the original location next time.
at 2pm I ordered takeout for pickup at 5pm. We arrive at 5pm and proceeded to wait until 5:20 while watching other customers walk up to the counter and order and get their rolls before us which we thought was odd. Finally, at 5:20 one of the workers told us they couldn't make one of the roles because the ingredients have gone rotten. We then order a replacement and then waited another 30 minutes (again other customers were receiving their food before ours). before they were able to get us our order. It was my husbands birthday and this really put a damper on the night. I am also pregnant and was starving by the time the rolls came out. And of course on top of that, the rice was so dry and the rolls lacked any flavor. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Picked some up yesterday after my fiancé and I went grocery shopping. Let me tell ya, I've never been a big sushi person, but wow this place blew me away. I got the Bandies rolls and my fiancé got the Dylan from Vegas rolls and both were absolutely amazing, as were the potstickers we got. I think we found our new favorite place to eat!
Cool, eclectic sushi place. They will deliver. The food was great. I was ordering a few plates for a work meeting and it was a big hit.
I got a Cali Roll and a Phat Roll. The employees were friendly and the rolls were tasty. It's also a fun atmosphere inside with video games you can play if you're into that. The rolls were also tasty. One downside is that it's not the best area for parking, just like everything in the area.
Don’t let anyone tell you land locked means no sushi! This place is AMAZING! Fresh and innovative options ? will be back soon!
Never had a bad experience here. Delivery, take out, dine in; I have done them all. Always amazing. The food is killer and such a GREAT price. Refuse to go anywhere else now. Love y’all.
