Overall, it was adequate. The Ciopinno was significantly better than adequate, in fact it was excellent, but not the hummus- that was adequate. The chicken was dry and inedible - it was inadequate. The server was near enough to hear our discussion, but evidently our critique didn't warrant investigating - that was inadequate. The reviews said the restaurant was warm and friendly, but instead we felt tolerated - that was inadequate.I doubt we'll return. We wanted more than adequate.
We LIVE for this place! We always get the Sherry Roasted Grapes & Burrata and the Patatas Bavas. We could live off those! Tried the mushroom risotto for the first time and it did not disappoint. If you’re visiting SLC or just looking for somewhere new before a show at the Eccles, be sure to give Fenice a try!
Loved this place! We happened upon it by accident but was not disappointed at all. The waiter, chef, and owner were so sweet and checked on us often. The branzino was AMAZING! Also recommend the Moroccan chicken as it was amazing as well. Also the food was very fair priced. We will be back!
Really nice dining experience. The drink menu is creative and the waiters/waitresses are great with recommendations. Food was really good as well. I had a pizza and it was a generous portion and had great flavor. Definitely would visit this place again but it's really small so would recommend reservations.
Just an awesome experience. The food itself was innovative without losing a focus on great and balanced flavor. All of the dishes were excellent, but the sherry roasted grapes with burrata made up my favorite bite….something you just won’t find anywhere else in SLC. However it was the friendly conversations with the staff, who clearly care deeply about this restaurant, that made my day. It feels like it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a restaurant where the team shows a genuine interest in their guests experience. The service combined with the food resulted in a memorable evening for my wife and I.
Yum!! We recently discovered Fenice and are so happy we did. It is located right by the Eccles Theater and the City Creek Mall in downtown SLC. Getting dinner reservations in Park City during the winter is so difficult, and even when you do, many restaurants are overpriced and the food is just ok. This winter we decided that we would explore Salt Lake City when eating out. We love Silver Star in PC, so Fenice was an easy choice to try. The menu is really interesting (the fire roasted grapes and burrata is an amazing appetizer) and the service is great (Adam is a wonderful waiter). So worth the drive from Park City!!
The food is fabulous. We had the calamari, polenta and mushrooms, bolognese and risotto. Incredible service with everyone serving, clearing tables and welcoming us and saying thank you. This was our second visit and we will be back again and again!
Delicious food in a cozy urban environment! I took my lovely wife here for her birthday and had a wonderful time with excellent service. Great cocktails too!
What a great experience. Hayden was very knowledgeable about the food and the wines and gave us great recommendations. If you’re a mushroom fan, the Polenta and Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms was amazing! Love the open kitchen and the staff was amicable and awesome. Good atmosphere good people and great food. Cheers
Cioppino is a favorite of mine. And Fenice's is OUTSTANDING.. Lots of mussels, clams Shrimp, and more. thin sausage in a tomato broth and a slice of homemade bread with a marinara sauce on it. Their Park City restaurant, Silver Star Cafe, is also a favorite. It's worth the drive from PC.
