Uhhh, this place is phenomenal. It may ruin other sandwich shops for you. I got the sloppy Joe (just half the sandwich pictured). My mind was blown during every bite. 10/10. The house salad and potato salad were also just perfect. Nice to have somewhat cheap side options to go with such a massive sandwich. Should be able to share one sandwich and a few sides with another person.Go and enjoy!
Delicious! The meat was sliced thin and tasted great. The bread on the Rachel Combo was griddled perfectly. Their coleslaw is more creamy than tart (but still tasty), so if you’re looking for tart definitely get sauerkraut instead. The pickle that came with the sandwich was perfect. The latkes were large, thick, and crunchy. An order of them and a single sandwich split between me and my partner was the perfect amount of food for us.I really look forward to coming back (especially to try one of their classic sandwiches)!
Exceeded my expectations! I had the lox and bagel w/ chive shmear and it was really tasty! The lox was nice and thick - no dark meat and no tendons…the cream cheese was also gzunte applied and it was so yummy with a cup of constantly refilled coffee! Thanks for the great morning and Yiddishkeit taste…and the zalts bagel was so fresh and delicious!! Check out my pics.
Excellent Turkey sandwich and Matzo Ball Soup. Coffee very good. Lot of seating in this small restaurant but on weekend prime time breakfast and lunch time frames expect to wait. Service only fair. We had to constantly flag down the waitress for cutlery and cream for coffee. Very filling but a bit pricy---Egg Salad Sandwich was $14 but it was big.
Yum. This place was a great sandwich stop. We came later in the evening, so they were out of Turkey, but that was to be expected. The staff was nice and offered great suggestions when we asked. Gave us honest opinions that ended with us having a delicious meal.We both got the Rachel, but wanted to try different sides, so one of us got fries and one got the potato salad. We loved everything. The servings are huge. We should have split a sandwich, but are happy for leftovers. Our server said we have to come back for breakfast. Already agreed we’re going back next week.
I love Feldman's but don't get to eat here as often as I'd like. Over the winter holidays, I took a visiting family member here for brunch; we were both impressed by the delicious food, generous portions, good service and relaxed ambience. The coffee is great, too. Also, they made me a vegetarian eggs benny!
Yeah, the best Reuben sandwich in the state debate was quickly ended here. The sloppy joe will slap you a good one. You could easily split it into two meals, but the bread is so good you just can’t put it down. It is like your body is saying no, but your taste buds are saying yes. The root beer and potato salad made the experience even more magical. Why can’t we have a Feldmans on the west side?
Came here for a breakfast sandwich and got 2 eggs over medium with provolone on a poppy seed bagel. Bagels are fresh, but eggs were made over easy (and over oversized). Very messy. I had also ordered a hot hibiscus raspberry tea, which was forgotten about so I had to wait slightly longer for the water to heat up. They weren't that busy, but only one person working the front. With tip, it was $18. Pretty overpriced.
Enjoyed a great first visit today, the 15th of January. Our waitress recommended the Rachel sandwich, which was what I decided to try, along with a side of potato salad. Both are excellent choices. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal today and I will gladly return to sample more of the delicious fare here at Feldman’s Deli!
