it feels like you step a foot into el Salvadoor.the pupusas , simply incredble!

This place was OK. We were in the area and wanted some pupusas. It is cheap and it tastes good but don't expect anything fancy or even ok because I think for the most part, workers go eat here.

Very authentic. Very hospitable. Wonderful people and amazing food ?

Since I’m not familiar with Salvadoran flavors, I don’t feel perfectly justified to complain about the food here being a bit bland to my taste, and maybe I just got the wrong things. I tried two pupusas, the revueltas and loroco con queso styles, the former being tastier than the latter. Both benefited from the cole slaw-esque side, which had an interesting herby flavor (fresh oregano?). I’d give some of their other dishes a chance if I’m in the area again.

I ordered pupusas and tamales and both were excellent. I love the plantain wrapped Salvadoran tamales. They tasted like they were cooked with fire or possibly on charcoal. Delicious! I will for sure recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Salvadoran food.

This was the 1st time I had ever tried food from El Salvador.. The food was fantastic and full of flavor! I recommend the tamales or the papusas.

Love this place! It's delicious comfort food. Like eating a will made home cooked meal.

Delicious food and an authentic Salvadoran experience! The pupusas are a must have

First time coming, last time coming. Got to the desk to pay and the order was 2 time the price. Asked to see receipt and the lady was giving me attitude. She charged us for 2 carne asada plates instead of carne asada pupusas. No big deal, people make mistakes. But she kept giving me attitude saying I was wrong, I asked for that and that she doesn’t make carne asada pupusas. Worst customer service.

Delicious, fresh, and cheap pupusas. Yum! I stumbled upon El Viroleño just driving by and glad I stopped in. It's definitely a no frills but really hits the spot. They have a specials board and lots of other things I'd like to come back to try – chile verde anyone?!
