Used to have great food but this last time it was not good. We ordered the Pad Thai and it tasted like lightly flavored noodles. Not spicy and very very little flavor if any at all. So disappointed and unlikely to go here again until they’ve stopped skimping on the ingredients. We ended up throwing over half of it away because it was honestly mostly noodles that tasted like nothing.

I haven't been there in about 3 or 4 years - since before the pandemic. And boy has it gone down hill. I should have known given the fact there were only 2 other people in the restaurant at lunch time in a busy area.I ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken and Pad Kring lunch special which comes with a salad. The salad was barely 6 bites of iceberg lettuce on a tiny plate drowned in sesame dressing. But it tasted good so I ate it. Just shook off some of the dressing onto the plate. The soup: the sliced mushrooms were obviously old. You know how they get brown and the edges get shriveled after a few days of being cut? Like REALLY brown and hard edges? Yeah - even being in hot soup couldn't soften the edges. I tried the chicken and it tasted "off". Tried one more bite to be sure and yeah, it was not tasting right. So I didn't eat it. When the waitress brought my main dish I told her that the mushrooms were old and the chicken was off. She took it away and said she would have a new one made.I began to eat my Pra Kring - I don't know if that chicken was off because it was so spicy it covered any taste, but I like spicy and the flavor was good so I ate it.She came back with a new bowl of soup while I was eating. Same mushrooms as before but the chicken tasted OK this time. I ate it because the broth tasted good, just left the mushrooms in the bowl.About 1/2 hour later my stomach started feeling not right. I felt queasy for the next 3 or 4 hours - skipped dinner because of it. I never actually got sick, but I was fighting it for sure. Never ate anything else that night actually - my stomach started turning even thinking of eating anything.I won't be back. There's so much GOOD Thai in the valley, I'm really disappointed - they used to be one of those good places.P.S. I will say, she gave me 15% off because of the soup being bad - and it wasn't her fault so I tipped her well - but I won't be back.

Omg!! This was a total gem. We had a 7 person group and this place exceeded all our expectations. The service was relatively quick. The staff were polite and the food was outstanding.

The Drunken Noodle at EkamaiThaiI’ve driven by this place a countless amount of times and have always wanted to stop in.Can confirm it was one of the best Thai experiences we’ve had!

What a wonderful experience. The service was phenomenal. Friendly and polite staff. The puff pastry with curry was delicious and the yellow curry with shrimp was by far the best I've ever had. The shrimp had so thoughrouhgly smoked up the curry flavor that I was beyond impressed. Hopefully they get their alcohol license soon, either way I'll definitely be back.

Ordered delivery, smallest portion sizes ever. That’s my 4 year olds hand in the photo. $14 dollars for a cup of chicken…

Appreciated food quality and taste. Never disappointed following Google Reviews.

We loved our first experience at Ekamai a few months ago with one of our sons. Last night we went again excited for a delicious meal. We ordered the Thai puffs we had been looking forward to trying but when they came, they were hot on the outside but still frozen on the inside. Our waitress then brought our main course which was the Drunken Noodles and Yellow Curry and took the plate of appetizers to have done over. In the meantime we ran out of rice because they only give you a small scoop with the yellow curry and you definitely need 2 to 3 scoops. When we were more than half way finished with dinner and it was cooling, she brought more rice along with the appetizers. I wish we had just canceled them because an appetizer should be enjoyed before the main course, not when you’re almost finished eating! When we received our bill, not only had the appetizers not been comped, which I believe should have been, we had also been charged $2.00 for the extra scoop of rice, which is complimentary and part of the curry meal. Crazy. Our waitresses were very nice but the common sense management and customer service is lacking. It was also too busy to bring up these issues which is why we didn’t.Not sure if we’ll go again which is sad because we love the food but at those prices there are plenty of other Thai options.

I’ve never went out of my way to review a restaurant and I have compassion for maybe loosing that “spark” during the pandemic but my spare ribs in the Massamun were absolutely Disgusting!! Rarely do I get the opportunity to splurge on $20 curry and I can’t believe the over cooked, dry & hard the meat they sent! It’s uneatable and I have some low standards for food. This dish was my absolute FAVORITE 5+ years ago, shame.

Always a wonderful meal abs very friendly staff. Has become our Sunday lunch venue when we’ve been to the zoo. Their chef specials are delicious
